Sometimes the blades on the fan itself can be out of pitch, which can cause the noise that you are writing about. You may need to replace the fan as well. It can be off just enough, that you can't really tell, but enough to make the noise.

On l-56 stove an error code EE 8. what is this and can it be repaired?

The blower motor is not working properly. Turn the stove off and remove the front cover. Remove the lower baffle in the front. Remove the black hose that is about 1 1/2" in dia. If it breaks don't be surprised. Stick a pencil in the hole and spin the fan. Keep trying until it spins freely. If it spins freely from the start the motor is burned. Put the black hose back on and try to start. IF the hose broke you will need a new one. For now put some electrical tape around the break to get you going.

Keep us posted.

I have a toyo laser 56 stove. It is starting to make a moaning noise. what shoud i do?

Pilot,

You need to have a new mat put in the bottom of the burner. When this mat lifts, sometimes the flame will cause a moaning noise with a large yellow flame. A new mat and maybe a burner ring will fix ya.

The bearings are making noise in the blower fan motor.

You will have to replace the motor,or have a company replace the bearings if you know of a motor rebuild place.

He might of gotten cleaner into the berings on the blower motor which will make it squeel like a dirty bearing sound.
If it's a low howling noise check that the squirrel cages are tight and not slipping. Also check for restrictions in the air intake.

Laser 72 exhaust blower noise

the combustion blower sucks in clean air so it has no place in the exhaust stream. hence no carbon build up. the blades of it look like a vacuum disk on a vacuum cleaner. if the fan was recently rebuilt, make sure of the placement of the bushings. if one is misplaced the fan will rub on its housing and make all kinds of racket.

Toyostove Laser 56 (F type) making loud humming noise

the toyostove is basically a glorified monitor heater.  its components are a combustion blower, an air circulator fan, a flame pot, a flat wick or burner mat, a solenoid pump, an ignition element, double  walled intake, exhaust pipe.   the combustion blower is a glorified vacuum cleaner motor. it sucks in cool air and channels it to the combustion chamber along the sides (round cylinder) kero enters on the burner mat where it ignites. the solenoid pump keeps adding kero until the flame detector spots or heats up. air flow to the pot is regulated by a damper in the combustion air blower line. if the "O" ring in the damper is missing or hardened it will not regulate the air flow which is necessary for combustion.  replace this "O" ring should take care of your problem.
