Fan on tahiti breeze will not spin i can hear the motor work but it will not spin the fan blades

Hi m.. if this is a new installation, look up at the area where the blades attach and be sure that you have removed all the black rubber packing stops. If this has been running and now does not , then you probably have a bad capacitor on the motor.
