Pull power or battery from the thermostat, then restore power. If you get the same display, the thermostat is bad and will need to be replaced. It is not a hard job, just note what color wire is attached to which terminal, and install the new one the same way. It doesn't have to be Honeywell. You just need to know what is being controlled. Is it for Heat only, or A/C only, or A/C and heat, or a heat pump.

More information is needed to be certain: What is the Interterm model number? What terminals were the wires connected to on the interterm, wire color and terminal ?

Is that a NEW thermostat? If so, not all thermostats are created equal. Some are made for gas, some for electric and some are for heat pump but ALL are different. Ones set up for electric don't have switching for electric gas valves and ones for electric and gas don't have switching for the aux. 10 Kw heat strip in a heat pump. Thermostat wiring color codes are also different. If you accidentally got a "stat" for a heat pump, the color markings for the wiring inside it may be the same but could connect to something completely different in your gas heater. Good luck.

Some context might help. Was it working before but now has this error? If you're just installing it, had you connected it to your wifi and have the app running or .. That initially strikes me as an incorrect wiring error but, not sure how or when you're getting it. You might want to give us some more detail to work with here. For the T6 Pro model, I found the installation manual; search for 33-00181.pdf. I pressed Menu and + for 3 seconds to get into Advanced Mode; then Select to enter ISU ("Installer Setup"); then Select several times to get to option 425 (Adaptive Intelligent Recovery). I then pressed "-" to make the setting zero (OFF); then pressed HOME to save the setting.

What colour are the lines?

wrong temp? what temp is it showing? it is possible you dont have the time set properly so you are currently in your "sleep" period or wrong time period.

The Honeywell RTH230B indicates that the system is running the overnight (sleep) program with the 4 inside the house symbol. When the house flashes, the desired temperature has been changed from that programmed temperature (bypass mode). The bypass mode should only run for 2 hours. The default programming starts the sleep period at 10 P.M. and ends at 6 A.M. On the original program in the thermostat, the temperature target was set to 62 during the heating season and 82 for the air conditioning season. Since the thermostat was set to bypass, you should check who in your house pressed the Up/Down buttons on the thermostat to change the house temperature. Beyond that, check the start and end times and the programmed temperatures for each scheduled period.
