I want to buy a battery tender jr and I don't know what size to get. I have a 2005 Kawasaki ZZR 600. Do I need a 6 volt or 12 volt charger?

More than likely you need a 12 volt model, very few bikes these days have 6 volt systems. I have used a Battery Tender in the past with good results, they do not last forever though.

Is there a way to charge the battery on my 2005 harley davidson 1200 custom without removing the battery

Buy one of these:

See the pig-tail on the lower right?

The two lugs bolt to the battery, and are left on permanently.
Route pig-tail to where you can access connector at other end from the outside of bike.

When you want to charge, plug charger connector into pig-tail, and plug charger into wall outlet.

Battery location

It's under the seat.

Buy a "BATTERY TENDER JUNIOR":

http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Deltran-Battery-Tender-Junior-Jr-12V-12-Volt-Maintainer-Motorcycle-Harley-/171194965880?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item27dc03df78&vxp=mtr

The "pig tail" on the lower right attaches to the battery terminals, and stay on the battery,
The charger plugs into this pig tail when charging.

Charging battery dead

No, you can charge it in place.

In fact, a "battery tender" is a good idea:

The "pig-tail" on the right of the pic is installed to the battery posts, the the charger plugs into the other end that you have mounted remotely in an accessible area.

HI, I was asked by someone if the Kymco S 200 has an alternator? Does it have one? Is there anything that can charge the battery, when not in use? Thank you Sincerely, John

Yes you can charge the battery with a battery tender, or battery charger, when the bike is sitting.

Your People S 200 requires a 12 v, 6Ah battery.

Fully charged will have 13.1 Volts
Undercharged 12.3 Volts

Most battery tenders use low amps to charge and wont overcharge your battery. It just maintains it at 12.5 Volts.
If you use a battery charger, be sure you monitor it regulary, as some models don't shut off.

The bike will not start, i think it's the battery but was not sure how to place a charger.

the best way to recharge the bikes battery is to hook the charger right onto the battery its self,, but dont use a car battery charger!!! there just to powerfull for a bike all you need to recharge the bikes battery is
1.5 amps @ 12 or 6 volts never try to charge it any faster or you will end up needing a new battery prity fast
