There are two of them. Located on the each side of the engine block just behind the motor mount. The right hand is between the starter and motor mount. Look for wires plugged into a round sensor. FYI, they do go into the water jacket so coolant will come out.

You can't. It has an anti-theft device. The days of boosting a car with a couple of wires ended in the 1980s! You have to fix the problem, not find a way around it.

If you have an owners manual it explains it in there.. I have a 2002 Chevy express van and you have to turn the key to the on position ( do not start). fully depress the accelerater twice then start the engine. this turns the oil light off in my van. ( this was in my owners manual)
