SOURCE: need to tension my cylinder head
generally cylinder heads are tightened from the center out, the correct sequence (pattern) can be found in a Haynes or Chiltons book, if you don't have one, check your local library they may have one.

What you need is a mechanic who knows how to use an extractor.
tow it to a shop. one of those deals where it costs more if you worked on it first.
SOURCE: How to tighten alternator belt / tensioner?
tire tool, , or a break over bar with socket that fit. good luck.
Yes. you will need tools! You'll get the belt on all pulleys EXCEPT the tensioner, Then with your "tool" (If im remembering correctly, On your tensioner, you just use a 3/8 ratchet) you get your belt close(To the tensioner, AFTER being on all other pulleys CORRECTLY, and push the tensioner down, and slip the belt on!

Hi Steven, All gears and bearings are to be tightened before finally setting the tensioner bearing. Begin alignment from the crankshaft and continue on the non tensioned side of the belt across the cam gears and finally tension the tensioner bearing. Regards John
