All taurus and other ford's have problems with the connection under the passenger seat which I am betting that that is the one you changed and the passenger air bag light is on ////sometimes just moving the seat up will shut of the air bag light but the problem is in the connector you must clean the contacts on both sides(the seat side & the cars harness side and make sure that the metal parts fit very tight of course the plastic parts of the connector fit good but it's the metal inside them that must be very tight otherwise there's a break in the circuit and that airbag light will come on also check the continuity of the wires for both sides a wire can be broken or corroded inside and one more thing did you disconnect the battery before you changed the seat if not you set a the code yourself and disconnect the battery cables for 3-5 minutes only if you have a remote control for the car to take it out of theft mode when you reconnect the cables the alarm or horns will sound IF YOU DON'T HAVE A REMOTE CONTROL DO NOT DO THIS YOU'LL BE STUCK IN THEFT MODE AND TOTALLY GOING CRAZY BECAUSE YOU CAN'T START THE CAR OKAY READ THIS SLOWLY SO YOU UNDERSTAND PERFECTLY
Not mine but ope this reference helps.

Hi, ON your 2002 ford taurus, The Flashing code 33 ( B 2292 )
This code refer to : Driver side seat belt pretentioner ( seat belt bucklet) problem.
Check the conecctions under the driver seat.
Repair as need, and recheck if thi code is present.
But if you had an accident on you taurus. You need to replace the Seat belt Pretentioner ( seat belt bucklet)
OK. I hope this information work for you.
Than's.
SOURCE: Air Bag Code
Code 52 relates to low voltage detected in a capacitor inside the airbag module. 45 seconds after key on, this capacitor should have a voltage of around 23 volts.
This capacitor stores energy to deploy the airbag in the case of a collision.
Because your airbag light is on, your system is deactivated (cannot deploy)
In your case, the airbag computer detects less than 23 volts at that capacitor 45 seconds after key on, and disables the system.
There is a diagnostic procedure involved in fixing this problem, but usually means a bad airbag module (computer)
This should only be checked by a qualified technician, as airbag service can be dangerous and there are strict procedures to follow so the bags don't inflate suddenly and cause injury.

Common fault on FORD
Usually due to a poor connection in the YELLOW PLASTIC CONNECTOR underneath the passenger seat.
Just push it together properly and it should clear the AirBag fault
SOURCE: My air bag light is flashing. What does that
1. Get in your Pathfinder and CLOSE the door. Turn the key on one click to
accessory mode so that all of the other lights on the dash are on but
do not start the car. Now open your door and push the the button inside
your door jamb that turns your interior light on 7 times. Close your
door and then turn your key off.
Now start the Pathfinder...it
should be off. If not, repeat this series a couple of times and it will
go off. I have had theis happen twice and this is the correct way to
fix the problem.
2. Similar story, similar results here too with a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder.
Got a new stereo installed, and got a bonus with the blinking airbag
light on the instrument panel. Got nowhere with the 7x or 10x domelight
press-the-switch voodoo. Bounced into this forum and got the fix that
works for my SUV. For the 2007 Pathfinder owners out there: You'll
notice the ignition key "beep" is heard only 4 times, not 5.
It took a little patience, as this procedure took me 2 attempts. This
is a slight modification from the one mentioned above for the Frontier
and the Maxima, but this definitely worked for my 2007 Nissan
Pathfinder:
1. Key in, ignition turned to on (but don't start truck).
2. Pay attention to the 4 beeps and watch the dash lights. You're looking for the airbag light to go out just after the last beep.
3. As soon as the light goes out (but BEFORE it begins blinking on you) QUICKLY switch the key back to OFF. Don't remove the key yet.
4. After about 2 or 3 seconds, repeat steps 1 - 3. In total you will do this procedure about 3 times. I say "about" because this all took a couple of attempts, but it was at least 3 cycles.
5. After your last cycle, wait about 5 seconds and turn the key to ON
again, and just observe the dash for the airbag light. It should go out
and stay out. If not, try it again but maybe add an additional cycle.
Like I said, it took me a couple of attempts but it worked. All credit
must go to this website, with special thanks to the poster "LB" ( http://www.carsforums.com/nissan/7423-nissan-airbag-light-reset-fix.html#post65692 )
I hope help you with this. Good luck.
