2002 ford expedition interior lights are not on what fuse is it?
Courtesy Lamps - central junction box. fuse # F1.21 that goes to interior lamp relay in the instrument cluster and F.24 this fuse powers battery saver relay .
Interior Lighting
The interior light system consists of the following:
- front map lamp assembly
- front door courtesy lamp
- generic electronic module (GEM)
- glove box lamp assembly
- central security module
- interior lamp switch
- interior lamp relay
- illuminated vanity mirrors (Navigator only)
- reading lamp assembly
- rear courtesy lamp
- running board lamp
- underhood lamp assembly
The generic electronic module (GEM) illuminates the interior lamps when an unlock signal is received from the remote anti-theft personality central security module. The illuminated entry feature will be canceled when any of the following conditions are met:
- 25 seconds have elapsed since the illuminated entry feature was activated and the interior lamp control is not activated (door ajar or courtesy lamp switch on).
- The GEM receives a request from the central security module (remote transmitter lock button pressed) and the interior lamp control is not activated.
- The ignition is in the RUN or START position and the interior lamp control is not activated.
The GEM will illuminate the interior lamps when any door is open or ajar. The interior lamps are; the dome lamp, the rear cargo lamp, the door courtesy lamp and the side rail lamps. The courtesy lamps will shut off when the doors are closed and the illuminated entry feature is not active or when the vehicle speed is greater than 5 mph (8 km/h). The interior lamps will not be reactivated until the vehicle speed is less than 3 mph (5 km/h) and a new door open warning lamp switch is received.
The GEM controls the interior lamps illuminated entry function by activating the interior lamp relay.
You have an electronic control module and relays involved in the operation of these lights also !

2013 Ford F-250 Sony SYNC 2 system. Radio and backup camera problems
Radio Volume and Sound Issues:
The fact that the radio is on but the volume knob doesn't respond and there's no sound from any source suggests a problem with the Digital Signal Processing (DSP) module. This module is responsible for audio processing and distribution.
The C1001:01-68 code points to a fault in the rear camera, while the B1215:00-28 code indicates an issue with the Accessory Protocol Interface Module (APIM).
Since the HVAC and GPS are functioning correctly, it's likely that the APIM itself is not operating as expected.
To address the sound issue, consider replacing the DSP module. Here are the steps:
Remove the subwoofer (it's held in place by three bolts).
Install the new DSP module.
Use FORScan to program the replacement module.
Backup Camera Issue:
The backup camera has also stopped working, displaying a message to contact the dealership.
You might want to try the following common fixes:
Master Reset via Software in SYNC 2: This can sometimes resolve camera issues.
Forced Reset via Disconnecting the Battery: Disconnect the vehicle battery for a few minutes and then reconnect it. This can reset various modules, including the camera.
Replacing the Camera Itself: If the camera remains unresponsive, consider replacing it
My traction control lights on in my 2007 Ford Freestyle 3.0 and I want to know if there's a vacuum that hooks up to that where it's at
This could be two different issues. For the dash light get the vehicle plugged into an OBD scanner or a diagnostic system to check for Trouble Codes. These will give clues as to what and where the issue could be. Comment below with them and I'l try to help explain them.
Unless the problem is with the brake booster most traction control systems do not use a vacuum to operate it. It is usually a set of electronic sensors on the wheels that the ECU uses to monitor tyre grip.
As I cannot look at the car myself for that hose you will need to get a good mechanic to look at it. The vacuum hose could go to many things like the EGR system, the Turbo (if fitted) or possibly to the transmission.
Where is cabin filter on 2000 e150
The 2000 Ford Econoline or E150 4 speed automatic, 5.4l V8 xl passenger or conversion van does not have an owner replaceable cabin air filter. The way that Ford has opted to deal with the issue of debris entering g the hvac or ac system was by utilizing a plastic mesh to catch any leaves or other foreign particles. I find using a vacuum while gently shaking the mesh does the job. It's located on the passenger side under a kick plate located under the airbag panel.
Ford ranger BT50 2008 2.5 DIESEL IMOBILIZER
This will sound a bit silly and obvious but have you tried a new battery in the transponder key? Sometimes the fix is that easy.
Have you had the vehicle plugged into an OBD scanner or a diagnostic system? Dashboard codes are commonly a bit vague about what the issue is. A Code 24 simply comes up as 'an Immobiliser issue' and thats all you get. The OBD scan will also tell you if there are any other issues with any of the other sensors on the engine.
Comment below with any trouble codes you get and I'll try to help you more.
