I am trying to install an amp and subwoofer into my 2003 Saturn Ion 2.2L and due to the stock head unit needing to be modified to accept an aftermarket unit I spliced into the rear speakers and put in a (LOC) Line Output Converter, and when I hook that up to it I was getting sound for a while but not full power, and now my back speakers don't put out any sound at all and I have a brand new battery I bought, but I took out the amplifier and subwoofer. Any suggestions or maybe solutions?

need to scan to find out what code is present and or if the aftermarket unit i causing code --most auto stores offer free scans

check both sides on radio for wiring ways,,, mostly red & yellow to positive,,,,,,black negative,(,both green to speaker,,,both yellow to speaker,,,both orange to speaker)speaker wire colors may be diffferent

See the arrow ?? Near the 'tail' of said arrow is a 'square' hole in the tensioner....Add tool,rotatein the direction of arrow & remove belt.....New belt installs in reverse order.

You may have created an over charged condition and at this point the a/c compressor will cut off on high head pressures. This can be verified by installing gauges to the systems high and low side service taps and reading the pressures.An overcharged system will start the compressor briefly but soon cuts off once pressure goes to 350 - 400 lbs on the high side. Acceptable pressures for this system should be no greater than 250 high and low suction should drop to 40-50 psi.You might recover the charge and evacuate the system,then try bringing the charge back to proper level.A sight glass in the reciever drier really helps determining proper fill.Once all bubbles have dissipated from the sight glass during charging ,one should stop at that point to avoid overfilling.Too much freon is worse than a low charge especially in hot ambient conditions....
