Location of fuse box for saturn ion power steering

1. it does not use power steering fluid.It has an electric motor on the bottom of the steering column.The cause of it failing is still exactly unknown.It could be a fuse,control module or possibly a falty motor on the column.

look in the owner's manual - the fuses are by the drivers pedals in the console. there's a chart in the manual of which fuses operate what; then when you take the fuse panel cover off it shows which fuse is where.

Under the hood... Check on the drivers side rear of the engine compartment, it should be located under a cover, above the battery.

The 1997 SL2 has a fuse for the cigarette lighter in a panel that is next to where the left foot of a passenger would be. The panel just pops off - held on by velcro.

The fuse box in the 06 ion is under the floor covering on the drivers side seat. Just move the seat all the way to the rear and then starting in the front near the pedals pull up the floor covering which is attached by velcro.
