its on the bottom front of the truck underneath the vehicle.on the drivers side...there are 2 bolts that hold it on and three wirees pretty simple .make sure you take the battery cables loose before you change it,

its old and old cars are a mess. all are. never seen an exception (cept mine, ) for sure a 1991. it's very old. 26yo. no spring chicken there. only a good shop can find leaks we clean it with steam cleaner and find source or use UV dye kit to find it while filthy.(plus matching test lamp) end leak saga... its Gear oil so that tells you all you need to know. back to engine, all engine loose power, sooner or later, all do. and all do faster and far worse not tuned up that is the V6 engine it has a name, 6vd1. its a SOHC engine and is belt driven cam if power lacks full time the belt slipped,its a 60,000 mile service point. ip power drops and not what is it>? well of its a bog, lost fuel pressure are dead MAP,filters fuel/air? well if its misfires, did it? its time for a tuneup ever get a full tuneup this decade, i bet not. but most here are not and that is why most are here, skipping tuneups seeing of spark and filters can run for 500,000 miles. endless posts on that., and that belt ignored, long walk home with it snaps, and will I promise. Smog you left off words, PPM and % making this way too hard, HC 7.04 to standard 1.60 and CO 177.6 to standard 40.0. we do HC PPM and CO in % see? 7% HC is great and avg is 12 (fleet) 177 CO, my guess is 1.7% and is near time max. what is stardard sounds like fleet avg to me.... not max. CO can be near zero and is with a good cat , is your cat missing blown out or rodded out> (insides present)>? and 10,000 car measures avg here, is . 05% over 10 times less. here is one passing see max, just below max on HC, (weak cat is cause) see CO, here, its tiny, a super safe car. to breath near. 1% max is clear, here, on 25mph rollers. in retrospect i think your CO is 1.7% (near 2 times our limit in usa) the 7 HC over 1.7 is really

I realise you have probably solved this problem by now so sorry for the late news mate . Had a similar prob and it turned out to be an alternator malfunction . I replace the brushes and off she went . These things send voltage from the alt . to a fuel pump relay or whatever so the pump wont run if the eng isn't (or the alt isn't outputting any voltage.) . Hope you already had it sorted . But I hope this helps if not . Cheers Simon .

You must replace the timing belt as it drives the pump, never reuse the belt. Check this link.

No - you're looking at swapping out the transmission as well - as it will not bolt up to the existing one. Check out www.planetisuzoo.com for lots of good info on this very topic.

The starter/solenoid is going bad, (flat spots) will need to replace, hopefully under warranty...please don't get stranded...last resort if stranded...tap starter with hammer, and try to start again...

I had the same issues, after replacing the ECU temp sender under intake manifold, the Airflow meter-even though it tested fine, having the injectors cleaned by one mechanic , having the codes read by another mechanic and testing ok and discovering they had no O2 sensor to replace. I pulled the feul pressure regulator off and found some f-wit had blocked the rail side opening with a bolt Put a new one in $120 and she runs sweet.

Disconnet battery cable. Either one but I always do the ground cable. Wait 15 minutes the reconnect and see if this does not correct the problem. O2 sensor will not and does not affect idle so I assume you have another issue.

The reverse bands can break without leaving a burning smell. The instant you put it in reverse, there is a sudden torque as the slack comes out of the drive train, so when it comes tight it can break without slipping or any other warning.

High beam and lows and FLASH mode all dead??????? can only be things. things? a voltmeter solves this in 5 min work. (schematic in hand) got DRL. not posting this on option fact, makes answers impossible. but ill guess, NO Fuses check all HL fuses. first. then the path, switch. wires connectors relays, and head light here is the schematic, with this and a voltmeter this is easy right, ? no ask for help, with it. this form sux by making photo too small, i can link it full size. but you need ask me. or log in to alldata.com and see it your self.
