car runs and drives okay>?
no errors in the dash IP cluster?
is this car in canada with DRL lamps" Daylight running lamps?
not told at al what it does wrong
both highs and lows dead, and high flash mode fail?
what I do is just look at the fuse to see if they are blown
the lid to the fuse box is marked each one named.
i will read the USA OEM service manual answer to you.
2005 is same car as my 2010 usa wk model
the module front control drives (uses DRIVER) to run all 4 Headlamps. so there is no fuse for lows or highs or left and right.
are your lamps factory OEM stock or hacked>?
if you scan the PCM OBD2 port there are P16xx codes DTC to see.
there is no relay, yes for park and yes for fog
sorry none, there. but I am only talking USA non DRL car.
why not say what is wrong or problem
or a job to do
or lamps dead.
or wanting to hack in LED or HID lamps
all you posted is a hunt to nothing.
if is DRL auto lamps the auto controller does use F10 fuse.
just a question if lamps fail?
do they fail
key off
key on
or key running
or all those and all 4 lamps fail?
Have you changed the trasmission fluid and filter in your jeep lately, if not do so and that just might stop the jerking in your jeep, and if that does not do the trick you will need to have your trasmission checked out by a trasmission shop.
Question edited to fix second code.
Grand Cherokee P0700 Code Definition
If you are scanning your vehicle right now, you should be looking for a second code that tells you what is actually wrong. Think about it like this.
P0700 Says- "Hey there's something wrong with this transmission.
The Next Code(s) Say- "I'm the actual problem going on with the transmission. I'm what you're looking for."
why ask this. the ECU in all modern cars this is programmed in to ECU, for DIS, or COPS or COIL PACKS
there is no distributor.
is this for cam reasons? why not say why ?
you can google this, vasts sold, and asked on google like 1 gillion times.(lol)
i have the full FSM , here.
so i dont need to google it.
WK jeep first year.
its even marked on the engine.
quote FSM
"These numbers (2) and (3) can also be found
on the top of the intake manifold (1) to the right of the
throttle body."
im still guessing context, (cam or spark)
the real deal from the FSM.
#1 is most forward. and why is marked #1 on all v8s and Vs.
scan the PCM, it will tell you what error you have, called DTC's what other cars did is of on importance, what matters is your car. lets say the connector is just dirty. the side of the transmission shows what model it is. my guess is this is the 545RFE transmission 4x4, right? got P0706 errors, shift lever , errors? (just a wild useless guess but i'm illustrating why you need to scan it) here are all those connections. which are failing, takes testing.. see the video yet , "how it really works"https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=e_xOJCqvi2Y#t=3846min23 seconds into VID, the switch top right below is not where you think it is.id re-seat the big connector and pray.... the driver shifts to drive.the cable moves to drive.the transmission TRS switch lands on Drivethe transmission TCM(in the PCM) tells the PCM you are in DRIVE and the PCM tells the BCM to tell the cluster you are in drive.using the CAN-bus comm network.not like a 1993 at all. not even close.
you can not prevent the alarm from going off because there is no disarm switch in the door lock mechanism. the only actual solution is to replace the key
Most of that is not scheduled maintenance items. I would have your fuel filter replaced, if not done yet, it should be done every 20,000 miles. Alot of these places get a small commission for selling added services. I would go by the maintenance schedule in your owners manual.
If I may suggest, you may want to check the ignition coil or check your fuel pump. the most likely cause is that you have a bad pump, and it stopped working....causing you to only use the fuel in the lines and then the engine shuts off due to lack of fuel supply. have someone get close to the gas tank and listen for the fuel pump to cut on. Beforehand, it may be wise to check the fueses and relays for the pump.
The problem I believe is the crank shaft position sensor.Check the wiring and make sure the connections are good.It is located at the right rear side of the engine block.Hope this helps.Good luck.
