Most car windshield wiper arms require a special tool. However, I have removed mine using a long screw drive to pry up the arm. Not likely.. even vehicles of the same year make and model are not simply "plug and play". Some sensors, wiring harness and computer usually need to be transferred. I've even seen motor mounts that were in differing locations.

No, removing the fan and shroud makes much more room if doing it from the top, but if you have a lift it is easy to get to from the bottom without removing anything else.

Probably lost freon and now it won't cool. The system needs to be vacuum and pressure tested to find the leak and fix. It could be a seal on the compressor or a leak in a hose or condenser. You should see some oil leaking from the system where the leak is.

Freon is not at the proper amount so the high and low pressures are not right. Thus, you get warm air at idle and cool air at higher rps when driving.

Hello, if you are referring to temperature gauge sending unit, it should be on the left front(driverside) cylinder head just above the exhaust manifold. Should be single wire connector (Green)
