You have a loose connection to the ignition system . When cranking make sure it is in neutral. and kill switch is in run position. The only thing dropping would sensibly affect is the fuel system or jarring a switch., but with the suspension you have there really is no jarring. So, I would ck the wiring. something is loose.

Being from 1985 or there abouts, it probably needs some TLC at a Yamaha service centre. May need new capacitors and resolder dry joints for age related issues.

(francais) hello in my issue the probleme was a little resistor r027 it's in this red zone and very ugly. easy to find. a friend was unsolded the resistor and weld a little wire after wash with isopropanole alcool. the resistor test the tension when we plug usb thing. less the resistor the usb ports don't work. you can buy r027 for 2 euros for 100 pieces.... or 2 euros for 5 10 pieces (funny).

The music will have to be in a standard MIDI file format or a format that results in standard MIDI over USB output when "played" by computer software or an external sequencer. Within the software you will probably need to create a new "instrument" if there is not already a template for the CVP 305, otherwise the tracks and sub channels in the MIDI file will be patched to GM, probably not what you want to hear.

the new maplin part has a higher voltage rating and is bigger. it will need to be fitted with the leads extended with wire to get it to fit.
