Maytag old dryer flame will not ignite when glow thing lights up
The 'glow thing' is called a Thermocouple and is a safety device that makes sure that there is a flame before the main gas valve to the burners opens up.
Because it is a gas appliance and the very REAL danger of explosion, all gas appliance must be worked on by a gas certified technician. It is not a big job and they normally carry thermocouples in the van.

1998 Honda F6 C Valkyrie no spark
Hello!
If your 1998 Honda F6 C Valkyrie is experiencing a no-spark issue despite having new plugs installed, there are several potential causes to consider:
- Faulty Ignition Coil: The ignition coil is responsible for generating the spark needed to ignite the fuel-air mixture in the engine cylinders. A faulty ignition coil could result in no spark at the plugs. You may want to test the ignition coil for proper functioning or consider replacing it if necessary.
- Faulty Ignition Switch: A malfunctioning ignition switch can disrupt the flow of electricity to the ignition system, resulting in a lack of spark at the plugs. Check the ignition switch for any signs of damage or wear and consider replacing it if needed.
- Faulty Ignition Control Module (ICM): The ignition control module controls the timing of the spark and ensures that it occurs at the right moment. If the ICM is faulty, it may prevent the ignition system from producing spark. Testing the ICM or consulting a professional mechanic may be necessary to diagnose and address this issue.
- Electrical Wiring Issues: Inspect the electrical wiring connecting the ignition system components for any signs of damage, corrosion, or loose connections. Faulty wiring can disrupt the flow of electricity and lead to a lack of spark.
- Battery Voltage: Ensure that the battery voltage is sufficient to power the ignition system. A weak or discharged battery may not provide enough power to generate spark, especially after being stored over the winter months. Consider charging or replacing the battery if necessary.
- Kill Switch or Safety Interlock: Check the kill switch and any safety interlock mechanisms to ensure that they are not inadvertently preventing the ignition system from functioning properly.
- Fuel Delivery Issues: While not directly related to the spark issue, it's worth ensuring that the engine is receiving an adequate supply of fuel. Check the fuel system components such as the fuel pump, fuel filter, and carburetors (if equipped) for any issues that may be affecting fuel delivery.
If troubleshooting these potential causes does not resolve the no-spark issue, consulting a professional motorcycle mechanic or an authorized Honda service center may be necessary to diagnose and repair the problem effectively.
Hope this helps!
Kindly,
Jordan

Ryobi bp42 backpack blower won't stay running and spit out gas
Common issues and possible solutions:
Fuel-Related Issues:
Check the Fuel Level: Ensure that the blower has enough fuel in the tank. If it's running low, refill it with fresh, properly mixed fuel as specified in the user manual. Remember to use the correct fuel-to-oil ratio to avoid engine damage.
Inspect Fuel Lines: Examine the fuel lines for any clogs, kinks, or leaks. Clean or replace them if necessary.
Clean the Carburetor: A dirty or clogged carburetor can cause starting and running problems. Remove the carburetor, clean it thoroughly, and check for any damaged components. Replace the diaphragm and gasket if needed.
Spark Plug Issues:
Check the Spark Plug: Inspect the spark plug for signs of wear, fouling, or damage. Ensure it's properly gapped and functioning. If needed, replace the spark plug
.
Air Filter and Intake System:
Clean the Air Filter: A clogged air filter can affect performance. Remove the air filter, clean it, and ensure proper airflow.
Inspect the Intake System: Make sure the intake manifold is secure and not loose. Tighten any screws or connections.
Heat Soak:
Sometimes, backpack blowers experience heat soak, where the engine becomes too hot to start. Allow the blower to cool down before attempting to restart it.
Compression and Ignition Coil:
Compression Test: Check the engine's compression using a compression tester. Low compression may indicate internal engine issues
.
Test the Ignition Coil: Ensure the ignition coil is functioning correctly. A faulty coil can lead to starting problems.
I've a 5 litre garden pressure sprayer and it's not functioning properly. It is pumping pressure but then it's leaking it all out at top of the green handle.
Here are some steps you can follow:
Check the Seals and O-Rings:
Release the pressure: Make sure there's no pressure in the cylinder by releasing the pressure release valve.
Unscrew the pump: Remove the pump to access the internal components.
Inspect the seals and O-rings:
Look for any damaged or worn-out rubber seals.
Check the rubber seal at the bottom of the tube (where the plunger sits) and ensure it's in place.
Examine the one-way valve (usually at the bottom of the tube) and clean it. Lubricate it with silicone grease.
Lubricate the rubber washer on the plunger with silicone grease and reassemble it in the tube.
Reassemble the pump: Put the plunger back into the tube and lock it with the handle.
Test the sprayer: Pump it up and check if it maintains pressure without leaking.
Inspect the Handle and Hose:
Handle connection: Ensure the handle is securely attached to the cylinder.
Hose inspection: Check the hose for kinks, twists, or blockages. Straighten out any kinks and remove debris that might be blocking the hose.
Check the Nozzle and Wand:
Nozzle adjustment: Adjust the nozzle to the desired spray pattern.
Wand inspection: Examine the spray wand for clogs or obstructions.
Lubricate O-Rings and Seals:
Apply silicone grease to the O-rings, seals, and other moving parts to ensure smooth operation.
Test the Sprayer:
Fill the cylinder to the desired level (avoid exceeding the maximum fill mark).
Screw down the pump firmly to create an airtight seal.
Manually operate the pressure release valve to ensure it's working.

Forgot password for Samsung DVR b74301n and I have no remote
You can try below methods:
- Default Password: Samsung DVRs often come with a default password, which is commonly set to "000000" (six zeros) or "admin." Try entering these default passwords to see if they work.
- Physical Reset Button: Check if your Samsung DVR has a physical reset button on the device itself. This button is usually located near the front panel or on the back of the DVR. Pressing the reset button can sometimes reset the password to the default settings. Refer to the user manual or contact Samsung support for the exact location of the reset button on your model.
- Contact Samsung Support: If the default password and reset button methods don't work, contact Samsung customer support for assistance. Provide them with the model number (B74301N) and explain that you've forgotten the password and do not have the remote. They may be able to guide you through a more advanced reset process or provide a solution specific to your DVR model.
- Factory Reset: As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset on the Samsung DVR. Keep in mind that this will erase all settings and configurations, including the password, so you will need to set up the DVR again from scratch. To perform a factory reset, locate the reset button on the DVR (if available) or follow the instructions in the user manual or provided by Samsung support.
It's important to note that performing a factory reset should only be done as a last resort, as it will delete all recordings and settings on the DVR. If you have important data on the DVR that you don't want to lose, consider contacting Samsung support for guidance on password recovery options specific to your situation.
