Xbox 360 has limited codecs, if you want to utilize more file formats download the media pack on xbox live. but for your streaming pleasure try out TVersity or PS3 Media Server it also supports xbox. just install it on your PC then stream the videos to your xbox.

The systems have region codes, therefore if this game comes from another country... PAL (EUrope) display format does not work on NTSC (America)...

I had this issue myself today when I borrowed Guitar Hero III and the wireless guitar from a friend. Luckily I decided to scour the internet before I got so pissed that I broke an accessory that isn't mine.

There are TWO buttons that you have to push to connect a new wireless device to your 360 that isn't connecting automatically.

Step 1
There is a small white button on the face of the 360 just to the right of the controller wire ports. Press and hold this button until the light on your 360 starts to flash. This puts your system into pairing mode. When this happens:

There is a small inconspicuous button on the bottom of the guitar near the strap connection When you press and hold this one you will see the lights around the x-box symbol flash in a circle.

If this does not solve your problem, chance are that you are indeed F*@KED and have to return yet another Microsoft product.

From what I can find, it would seem your Xbox one is having trouble connecting to the Microsoft servers. It could be because of increased traffic, or an issue with your internet speeds.It is also possible, that the services provided by Microsoft, are not ready yet. It happens a lot during the first while of release of a new system.The PS4 is having simmelar issues.

If there is the same number of pins and you can find the drivers for it than it could be possible.

Its a codec problem, basically how the xbox 360 converts the film to be able to play it on there. Is the xbox connected to the net, as it will automatically download the needed codecs

The Arcade model comes with no harddrive, no hdmi (for digital connection to an HDTV), and I beleive the controller is wired instead of wireless. If you are planning on just playing games then the arcade may be a good choice for you as it's cheaper but you may find yourself wanting a hard drive sooner than later. If you were to get the Arcade then purchase a hard drive later you will pay more than the price of the pro.

You might need a new disc all together, the one you have may have just a couple of scratches. (same thing happened to me!) all i simply did was buy a new disc (fifa) and it started working again. Hope this helps DIGMAN

I had the same problem playing video from a data disc, code 69-8007045d. I made the exact same video file play by (1) adding .avi file extension to the file name (i.e. "videofile" renamed: "videofile.avi") and (2) putting it in a folder with the exact same name (videofile.avi). Same video file, didn't have to transcode to .wmv which degrades vid quality. Simple solution, but it worked. This is also the key to displaying a picture file as the icon instead of the generic "filmstrip" pic that displays by default. Just name the picture file the same name as the video and folder (i.e. "video.avi"). This has even worked with divx and xvid encoded videos when I've tried. My guess as to why this happens is that MS doesn't want to be legally or financially responsible for their hardware being used to play protected content, which is also why the status code 69-8007045d doesn't appear anywhere on their official website. yo i tried everything and it turned out to be what one dude on her said about the usb ....if u look close in the usb port ...ther is 4 things sticking out ..in one port they were all straight ...in the other port they were crushed up against the wall so i took a knife and smashed them back down away from the wall make sure they are pointed down AWAY from the walll i cant plug a controller in that port but i can the other port.....soooooooooooooooooo it dont matter and bammmmmmmmmmmmm it came on i started **** in front of everyone

1 red light indicates that there is general hardware related problem with the console, 2 red lights indicate the overheating of the console, 3 red lights indicate the red ring of death and 4 red lights indicate that you need to tighten your AV console wire.

Hi this sounds like what happened to mine and also started with Halo 3 now it happens with all my games. Eventually you will get a red light flashing its the E74 error and will have to be sent to microsoft. The E74 error is a problem with either the AV port the Graphics chip or the AV cable itself

The problem is that you have created 2 different accounts, you have to use the account you used to complete the game to join xbox live to maintain the achievements - you can't send game data to another account. Play the original account (the one you completed the game with) and use it with Live. If you haven't discovered this yet or the other account expired get more Xbox Live and go from there.
