Try some other games. See if it is only the Madden game. Do any other games freeze? Are your fans loud? Is there a lot of heat coming from the back?

Tryed to set up on xbox live and it doesnt give me the option online to enter the code.

You may very well have a bug in one of your saved files/downloads.
To fix this issue, what you will need to do, is delete your gamertag, basically to refresh your xbox HDD, then go to xbox live and go to RECOVER GAAMERTAG,place the email address you used to originally set it up, and recover it. this HAS happened to me once before, and this has a 99.99% of working, now before you start worring, you will not lose your gamertag altogether,....unless you forgot your email address. Let me know how this goes,

If it has a usb you just plug it in, if it's a ps2 game controller you can not use it on a 360. But not all usb controllers will work on a 360

I think the content is too high definition. If you're using component, like i am, it plays the lower resolution videos just fine, but higher resolution videos won't play. But when it's connected to an LCD tv, it works just fine? Must be that.

Depending on how long you've had the cd if u just got it take it back and get some microsoft points and buy the downloaded version and if you've had it a while and its just noe happening you should see if the cd is scratched if it is then have gamestop redo the plastic stuff i don't remember what its called
