Controller won't work on game
It either isn't compatible with BF or isn't configured (properly). Check the manual or the BF website for compatibility, and look at the in-game controller settings. Good luck!

Cannot find wingman force feedback driver for vista
This device is not considered a generic usb device and requires specific drivers. If it is Vista X64, Logitech has discontinued support for this joystick. If it is 32bit this is the link to the driver. http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/486/2969&cl=ca,en?softwareid=4353&osid=13
I hope I helped.

Sticking brake pedal on Wingman Force GP
I presume these are not under warranty.
As long as it is not due to a foreign object being jammed in the hinge/base/brake pedal, if the pedals have miles on them you are experiencing a common
problem with many, many aged Logitech pedals.
At the time your was manufactured, Logitech used the same assembly for pedals on all of their products as far as I know.
I could offer a few links to what can be done, here is a very durable fix for those factory 'bearings':

Vista has awful driver support- especially with peripherals such as these and even more so with the 64-bit version. I suggest switching back to XP. It also would never hurt to contact Logitech about if the device is supported by Vista x64 but I highly doubt it.

Have you run it through its built in calibration utility. If not it is available through the control panel>game controls> calibrate
Or the games you play may have a calibration utility in the options menu.
I can't uninstall Wingman 4.10
Try a Windows system restore to the date before you installed the Wingman 4.10.
It may ask to install the Wingman 4.10 again, but use the program uninstall. If you have to do the windows uninstall again, then what you can do is look into the startup by typing msconfig.
Disable the startup program that you uninstalled.

Vista and Logitech Force Feedback Joystick Wingman 3D
I tried the above link and it works fine, on a 32-bit Vista. But if you have a 64-bit Vista you might want to try the 64-bit version of this driver, just search around Google for it. Fixed the problem I was having with this joystick not working correctly in Vista (no feedback). Now it works great.
