I have a Kitchenaid front load washer KHWS02RMT1. 1 How do I find out what the different codes mean?

The codes are not always available unless someone has posted them. Sometimes the manual will show error codes and leave a brief description of the problem but these codes are primary for service technician. Some manufacturers do not list codes for the consumers as they would rather have a technician fix it for you.

What does Code 5ud for front load Kitchenaid washer mean?

This error code indicates excessive detergent suds occurred during the cycle. This could be caused by using too much detergent or not using High Efficiency (HE) detergent. The washer will not be able to spin out water with the excess suds. When "Sud" or "Sd" is displayed, the washer automatically extends the rinse time to remove the excess suds. During this time, the washer pauses the tumbling and adds water for additional rinsing. This pause allows the bubbles in the suds to break. This pause and rinsing are necessary and may occur several times to eliminate the suds. This could significantly lengthen the time for your washer to complete the cycle. If the problem continues, and the correct amount and correct type of detergent is being used, we suggest running a "Clean Washer" cycle to remove residual detergent that might have built up in the washer. Follow the instructions in your Owner's Manual for cleaning

Is there anything inside of the kitchenaid kawe760WAL3 fabric softener dispenser? I'm trying to get old build up out of this model and have it soaking. But something is moving around in it.

It works on a siphoning system. Usually you can pull the top dome part off. If that doesn't work, run hot tater in from the hole in the bottom. There shouldn't be anything inside it.

KitchenAid sm8525121 top load washer. Clorox dispenser will not empty into tub

In such cases the water jet which forces the cleaner into the machine might be clogged. Another rare possibility is the dispenser mouth be constricted and only water and little cleaner goes out and rest remains there only.

Top drawer will not stay closed

I had the same problem. Turns out to be a bad door slide (1 or both). They have a little spring in them that breaks. Good luck finding that spring, easier to replace the whole thing. It is about $90 a slide. Mine was the left. Look at the little white plastic it will have a L or R. https://www.genuinereplacementparts.com/kitchenaid-kudd03dtss0-slide-left-hand-genuine-oem?gclid=CjwKCAjwr8zoBRA0EiwANmvpYDCk8oqIykKNCdqauAm5dcmo9ixd7_NWWbYMfN-2Hh3nMmPPGmCJDhoCafMQAvD_BwE

It looks like the drum in my kitchenaid washing machine has dropped, why what would cause this issue?

Broken support springs and most likely a worn out drum bearing. You really need to take it apart to determine the needed parts for repair. You can contact www.repairclinic.com for help in the repair and needed parts.

KitchenAid Dishwasher fills then starts to wash for a few seconds. It then stops and drains.

A circuit board connector ? your switch is good then make a contact bridge to test by jumpering the contacts directly on the circuitboard too each other then the error must be gone then you know for shure there is nothing something with the cable or contact ? There can be an other switch that have influence on the matrix of the programclock or the programclock itself.

Will only start water when in wash cycle

  • The diaper pail we suggest using is the size medium Diaper Pail with Carbon Filter, or, if you want a really big pail, the American Diaper Association approved 54 QT Diaper Pail. We sell them at Diaper Safari! They are nice and big andboth have a slot for a Citrus Circle which helps eliminate odors.
  • Try using a mild and environmentally safe detergent like: Bi-O-Kleen, Allen' Naturally or ECOS. You can also use Arm & Hammer for sensitve skin or Sensi Clean - do not use Dreft!
  • A Citrus Circle or a little baking soda some tee tree oil in the bottom of the diaper pail liner will help against odors.
  • Diaper Pail Liners can be our re-usable waterproof pail liners or standard 13-gallon kitchen trash bags.
  • Sprinkle a few drops of BacOut Stain & Odor Eliminator on the diaper if "poop" got onto the diaper itself.
  • Adding a few drops of Tee Tree oil to the main wash leaves diapers smelling fresh and kills bacteria - not for pocket diapers.
  • Sun-dried diapers and covers become snow-white. Try this as often as the weather allows.
  • Use the dryer for a few minutes to soften sun-dried diapers that get stiff.
  • Wash and dry new diapers one to five times before wearing - for unbleached diapers this will remove the natural waxes and will fluff up the cotton, which gives the diapers their absorbency. You will only need to wash the covers, Fuzzi Bunz and AIO once or twice at the most.
  • Spray any solids off with the Mini Shower - it makes makes cleaning cloth diapers very easy
  • Don't let wet and clean diapers sit in the machine overnight.
  • For serious stain you can try something like Spay and Wash.

Washer wont spin

Dear Cindy, Fixya people are not on a switchboard, and we do not answer until someone of us reads and understands the problem, and knows how to advise you to fix it. You could wait days or weeks, depending on who reads the problem, and what they know about it. We are at home or at work somewhere, and are answering questions in our "spare time". Two things to check are the drive belt (if it has one) or the coupling attached to the motor (if it has one) God bless your efforts.
