Common issue with all of these carafe's. Once the jar starts to leak the bearings are shot and it is time to replace the jar. The bearings are non-replacable. Bad design in my opinion. I was able to get my last jar (I have been through 3 before the 5 year warranty went out) to last by hand washing and not putting it in the dishwasher, but after 4 years of use on this jar it failed too.

The problem is that what u r trying to blend is too thick usually. Add more liquid and u should be fine.

this may sound weird but I had it work on some buttons such as you have on the blender. Get a pencil and using the eraser end tap firmly on the stuck button hopefully it'll release it. best to you.

Although your thoughtfulness for your friend is nice, your want to make it appear to be something other than it is leaves something to be desired.The counter is not resettable by a typical end user, and for good reason.It's called F R A U D.

It could be either a melted wire or the motor winding overheated and shorting out. If it is the motor, you should just buy a new blender. It would have to be taken apart to see inside. If you are handy, fix the burnt wire yourself. If not, better off buying a new one. Do not leave it plugged in, when not being used, due to a fire hazard.

You can't. The Jars have perfectly balanced blades that cannot be changed. A replacement jar from Blendtec is cheaper than a replacement blade assembly from other manufacturers. 1-800-253-6383 is the customer service number.
