with all the machines ive had you pull it out and lift it up at the same time, then give it a good wash when you put it back you have it upright and slowly lower it as you push it in, don't try and force it.

To open door during mid cycle, turn off washer by plug and wait a couple of minutes until you hear a click, then the lock light ( assuming it has one ) will release, but make sure there is no water in the tub before opening the door. If possible when door is unlocked, run the drain setting and let the water pump out before hand. Hope this helps.

Family error code E40 is visible to customers and (could be E41,E42,E43,E44 and E45 only visible in service mode) means problem with open door or door interlock. I suggest rapid reading alarm code when appliance is in normal operating mode (e.g. during the execution of the washing programme): Press and hold down START/PAUSE and any of the option buttons for at least two seconds: the LEDs initially switch off, and then display the flashing sequence corresponding to the alarm. The alarm sequence continues as long as the two buttons are held down. The dispenser often has a small amount of water in it after a completed cycle so that's nothing to worry about. A lot of water usually means the dispenser needs a good clean. Pull the dispenser as far as it will go and then give a sharp tug to pull it completely out. The middle dispenser cover can then be taken out and cleaned, and so can all the other parts you've removed. The pipes in the machine and in the dispenser tray should be cleaned out well, as these usually cause the problem of retaining water. Put the cover back on the centre section securely and then push the whole tray back into the machine gently. Good luck!

Press first left up button and first left down button simultaneously ( during the execution of the washing programme ) for at least 2 seconds: the LED switch off and then display the sequence of flashes indicating the alarm. Hi. EF0 is suggesting an internal leak which operates a float switch inside the cabinet at the base. It could be a leak (split door seal, hose, etc) or over-foaming causing a momentary leak. Dry the base and inspect. A blocked condenser on the dryer can cause the drum to overfill on wash. I have also witnessed the code come up when the drain pump is jammed..odd as this should be E20. If it drains ok ignore that!.
