Use Mode button to toggle through to Hours, Minutes, etc.

3.When desired number (such as Hours/Minutes) starts to blink, use Start/Stop button to change number

4.When done, hit Set

Timex 1440 sports WR50M

Solution #2 by Guest, posted on May 13, 2008 solved my problem. OUTSTANDING solution #2!

1. Hold in the MODE button until the alarm time appears.

2. VERY IMPORTANT - release and TAP the MODE button AGAIN, and the time should appear with the seconds flashing.

3. Use StART/Stop to choose among seconds, hours, and minutes, and

4. Use ADJUST to increase the selected number

5. Press MODE to put the thing back in regular operational mode.

After several attempts with other directions over the last four months, these 5 steps WORKED.

How do I get my Timex WR50M watch out of the 24 hour (military) time and back to a 12 hour clock?

Hold down the adjust button bottom right then press the mode button top left you will notice the a or p that stands for am/pm will disappear & reappear. If you have an a or p on your display then you are out of military time.

Alarm Problems for timex wr50m

hold down the "adjust" button (bottom right) as you press the "start/stop" button (top right). this will cycle through the alarm functions. I believe one is an hourly chime and the other is the alarm. just keep pressing until there are no icons below the time. that should do it.
