To turn off the chime and alarm: Press bottom left until in the alarm screen. Then press the top right button repeatedly until the CHIME or CH symbol is gone and/or ALARM or ALM to disappear, then press the bottom left button to go back to main time.

How do i set the time and date on my watch?

Hi,

This is direct link to all ARMITRON watch manuals/instructions: http://www.armitron.com/watch_instructions.asp

or

You can also try with this approach. This is for Armitron WR 330,but i believe this could also help you.

The following labels are on the inner ring of the watch; I've given their positions relative to where numbers would be on the face of an analog watch.
"ST/STP" is at 2:00; "EL" is at 4:00; "MODE" is at 8:00; and "ADJ" is at 10:00.
To set the time, date, and day of week:
Press and hold in the "MODE" button until the display starts flashing. (This is the alarm time.)
Press the "MODE" button again; the seconds begin flashing. Press "ADJ" to set them to zero.
Press the ""ST/STP" button to change what you want to set. The options appear in this order each time you press the "ST/STP" button: minutes, hour, month, day, day of week.
Use the "ADJ" button to change the value of the setting.
Touch "MODE" to save the settings and return to time mode.

Have a louifrey watch and alarm goes off at 4 a.m. I have lost the instructions. This is driving me mad!

I assume your watch is an electronic type that has a number of buttons to press.

I couldn't find anything useful on the Louifrey web site but as most watches are (there are only so many variations on four buttons), try the following;-

There should be a button called "mode". Pressing this enters the settings menu and you should be able to find a setting that is for "alarm" and probably says "ON". When you find this position, press one of the other buttons to turn it to "OFF" or perhaps the "ON" disappears.

You then keep pressing the mode button until you leave the settings menu.

I hope this helps, have patience, good luck!

I've lost the owner's instructions and need directions for setting the alarm.

  • Unscrew the crown (the main knob on the center right side of the watch casing), wait until the second hand is at the 12 o'clock position, and pull the crown knob up so that it clicks once.
  • 2 Press the button below the crown knob repeatedly until the hands of the alarm dial point to the time within the next 12 hours that you want the alarm to ring. Pressing the button once will move the alarm one minute forward. Pressing and holding the button will move the alarm forward quickly.
  • 3 Pull the crown knob one click further out and turn to adjust the main hands to the correct time, to take into account the time you took to set the alarm.
  • 4 Push the crown knob two clicks back into its normal position, and screw it into place until it locks.

    Hi bsklar,

To set the digital time and date on your Timex, please follow the steps below.

    1. Press and hold the "Set" button for 2 seconds. The "Set" button is on the lower right side.

    2. Press the "Date Advance" button on the upper right side. This will reset the seconds.

    3. Press the "Change Mode" button on the lower left to set the hour. The hour will flash. Press the "Date Advance" button until the correct hour is displayed.

    4. Press the "Change Mode" button again to set the correct 10s unit (first digit 1 or 0) for the minutes. Press the "Date Advance" button until the correct first digit of the minutes is displayed. Repeat this step to set the second digit of the minutes.

    5. Repeat Steps 1 through 4 of this section to set the year, month, date and day and whether to use 12- or 24-hour time for your watch.

    6. When finished, press the "Set" button (on the lower right) to return to the current time view and lock in your settings.

    Hope it helps.
