I can't get digital channels on my tv.
I have just purchesed a Sanyo LCD-22VT10DVD unit. When i went through set up I hit the wrong button and it skipped the set up for digital channels and only found the analoge ones.
In the manual is says to turn off and unplug the tv and you will be able to start setup again. I have done this (several times) and not once has it gone to set up mode again... it still only shows the analoge chanels
What do i do??

Can you please help me program my sanyo tv it will not program at all I wasin the middle of a movie when it just went out the TV comes on has sound justwill not program for
hi, when you press the reset button the tv has gone to factory setting. All the settings made by you have been erased when you rested the tv. you have to set all channels by auto tinning your tv. also you have to set picture setting according to your preference, because the tv is now in factory default setting. ok
Connect the cable to your TV's antenna input jack. Through the TV setup menu, perform a digital cable search. This is a separate operation from the full channel scan. The TV manual says this may take up to 10 minutes, so be patient. The set should find the channels on your system. When you want to watch TV, press the INPUT button on your remote to select Digital RF as the source. Press INPUT again to select any other source (DVD, etc.) you have connected when you want to watch that.
I was wrong about needing a converter. This TV has a tuner that can pick up the cable channels if they use a system called QAM. Verizon says QAM-capable sets don't need a box for non-scrambled or premium channel, so you should be good once you have the TV scan channels.
I couldn't find the DP26648 manual at Sanyo's site, so my solution is based on the DP26647 manual. They should be similar. You can download the manual here if you don't have the manual for your set.
This TV comes with a dual tuner uhf/vhf in and digital antenna in .hook to digital antenna input and change input on remote to dtv hit menu and let it scan for channels.
If your set is 6 months old, I would suggest to have it repair under manufacturers warranty. All the electronics devices have 1 year warranty.
The failure you have with your LCD is the power supply not working properly.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
The manual states the TV is designed to search for channels.
turn the power on
then hit menu
(if it doesn't start searching for channels)
then hit channel up -let it run a complete channel search
hit menu again
(if it doesn't start searching for channels)
hit channel up- let it run a second channel search
hit menu again after it finishes it's 2nd search cycle
if it doesn't go to a channel, hit the input button.
Just fixed ours with the same problem. You need to hit the volume buttons on the remote during the time the screen goes black but BEFORE it gives you the "Connect cables" message. It should trick the TV into giving you a blank channel.
Sanyo TVs are made notoriously cheap, and have little glitches like this. Best of luck, space cowboy.
You should try and download the users manual if you do not have one...I remeber seeing in it that after hooking every thing up, you have to do the channel search twice before the unit will work properly..This is highlited in the manual with correct hookup diagrahm..
