I'd suggest you continue looking for someone to do it.. Your natural gas company should be able to help you out on that. Be sure to tell them that you have the parts. Good luck..
Burner orifices must be resized or adjusted to accommodate higher pressure LP. Air shutters should be opened all the way to allow maximum air to gas ration.
Hello, thank you for posting. It sounds like you have done a little work to get the unit converted to LP. Make sure you didn't install the regulator upside down. Sometime you can get a defective regulator out of the box. Some of the regulators have the "N" for natural gas if so you need to convert this as well. I suggest you send a factory repair person just to double check on the unit. It well not cost anything to have them test out the unit if you feel the part is "broken".
Happy Holidays! Please rate me "4 thumbs" if that was helpful.
You can order an LP conversion kit to change it over to propane. Most kits cost between 30 and 60 dollars, and require you to take the drum out of the dryer to access the gas valve for the change over.
Hi,
There is a regulator...usually on the gas line where it enters the range... this needs to be converted also or the gas pressure will be too high...
To convert it the center needs to be turned out and the center flipped over and screwed back in...
This will lower the gas pressure
You will need a conversion kit for converting your dryer from natural gas to Propane. Please see this link for converting your dryer from natural gas to Propane---
Chk and make sure the thermocoupler bulb is in the pilot flame, If it is, it is defective and needs to be replaced. Easy, inexpensive repair. Good Luck, Ned
