My Kenmore front loader washing machine (model 417.43042200 - bought 2003) is leaking water during the cycle in the front bottom of my machine and banging/thumping as it cycles through, especially towards the end. It doesn't appear to be a balance issue. Is this worth repairing or should I just buy another?

make sure all shipping pins are out the tub should move all around from side to side if it level still bangs its eather the balance ring top basket are there 3 slides on a plate above the motor just put some silacone oil on tham move around

You never want to over load your machine, when you do some of the heavier clothes seem to go to one side of the machine. When the spin cycle starts and it's making that loud sound, open it up, wait for the spin to come to a complete stop, then make sure clothes are evenly around. Then put the lid back down it should be fine then. If it's not, then repeat above steps. I hope this helps. Thank You for using FixYa.
