unplug your washer for 5 minutes and try it...these washers are known to have pump issues..if its older one..the pump can be replaced...if its newer..the motor/ pump has to be bought and replaced...
That is a communication error between the control and the motor board.
Could be a corrosive buildup on the ribbon connectors and/or a bad wire or loose wire.
You can unplug the machine and trace all wires to look for a pinched or loose wire.
Unplug and clean all wire connections.
If that does not work it will be a bad motor controller.
On the ccu, the board on the right is usually the culprit, I have recently replaced one with that same error but I would first unplug it and remove and re connect each plug on the board looking for dark connections or dialysis, corrosion. If not fully insert each plug and try again.
Call Kenmore if you bought it new they may have a record of your serial number and be able to tell you what the error message means and if you need a service call to fix or you can do it yourself. my serial number is on the back of the washer on a sticker or a typed silver tag that is attached to the washer.
If this is a Calypso, there are retaining clips holding the top down in the front of the washer. You will need to look along the seam where the top meets the front panel the washer about 2 inches in from each side. Using a putty knife, insert into the seam and push straight in while lifting on the top. The retaining clips will release and the top lifts up. It may take a second set of hands to make this a little easier. When you get the top lifted up, there will be a couple of screws holding the front panel in place. Remove them and you have access to the interior of the washer. If this is not a Calypso, please post back so I can give you correct advice. I hope this helps you.
