NEW SAMSUNG WASHER WONT DRAIN.

There is most likely a blockage prenting all the water from draining out by the time the spin cycle starts. check drain hose and filter if there is one.

I have the same washer..same problem..pump tested ok on the bench when connected to power. All lines r free from any obstruction. Any clues r much appreciated.

Had a similar problem. Turned out the pump impeller got jammed in a broken off zipper pull tab. The pump motor still ran and the belt was slipping. If you decect a burned rubber odour, then that is your problem.

It is possible that the machine does not start off the cycle because there are errors due to feedback from the inputs. For the program to start up the main program controller must initiate the INLET/MOTOR/DRAIN pump/ valve to open up and allow each function to be driven starting from the flow of water into the drum as also the drain valve to open to exit the water at the point of the program cycle. If this does not happen then the voltage at the valve/motor/pump must be checked or the fault relates to no voltage from the controller. This means the controller is a suspect.

• Clean the debris filter.
• Make sure the drainage hose is installed correctly.
If wont help you need to look in drain pump/wiring

You have a blockage in the drain pump or sump on the machine, it could be anything from a coin, bra wire or an elastic band, best thing to do is switch off the electricity and incoming water, remove as much water from the machine as possible, pull machine out place a suitable container below the drain filter and then open up the filter (if fitted) once cleaned check hoses and drain pump internally for blockages.

at the bottom of the washer is instructions on how to drain the water inside the washer. A small hose is contained at the bottom right hand corner with a white plug (you need to pull on it hard). Once you remove the plug from the small drain hose it will drain all the washer water.

Before you do all this make sure you disconnect the electrical wire or turn off the breaker switch to the washer machine.

Same thing Happened to me I found that there was a small coin caught up in the filter..
