Hello there: The problem you mention is not that clear. The pilot won't light or the pilot lighted but won't stay on is two different problems. If the pilot won't even light or no gas coming out off the pilot when you push down the pilot button it means the pilot orfice is blocked and what it need is cleaning the pilot orfice. If the pilot light is on but goes off when you release the button then the thermopile need to be changed. Hope this can help.

I have a Williams gas wall heater model # 5009622. The pilot lite shut off in the middle of the night. I can light it, but won't stay lit, I took out thermalcoupler and cleaned, put back and pilot...

It sounds like there may be an issue with the gas valve or the thermocouple on your Williams gas wall heater model # 5009622. The fact that the pilot light will not stay lit and the burners came on and went off after cleaning the thermocouple, suggests that there may be a problem with the gas valve or thermocouple. Additionally, the fact that the pilot light went off in the middle of the night, it could also be a sign of a problem with the thermocouple.
Possible causes for this issue include a malfunctioning thermocouple, a faulty gas valve, or a problem with the voltage to the gas valve.
Here are some steps you can try to fix the problem:
  1. Check the thermocouple: Make sure that the thermocouple is properly installed and that the wire connections are secure. Also, make sure that the thermocouple is clean and not corroded.
  2. Check the gas valve: Make sure that the gas valve is functioning properly and that it is sending gas to the pilot light.
  3. Check the voltage: Make sure that the voltage to the gas valve is correct and that the wiring connections are secure.
  4. Check for leaks: Make sure that there are no leaks in the gas line.
  5. If the problem persists, it's best to contact a professional HVAC technician or the manufacturer for further assistance.
It's important to note that working with gas appliances can be dangerous, if you're not comfortable working with gas appliances, it's best to get it serviced by a professional.

The pilot light won'jt light in my warm morning propane gas stove

If you dont have gas coming thru while holding down the button, you have one of the following; no gas, main valve off, or a bad gas valve.

Heat and Glo pilot light works but Burner won't go on. I messed with it and it started up but won't turn off. next day won't start but the pilot light is still on

light your pilot and take a light to the termopile (right beside your pilot it sticks out to get heat from your pilot. hold lighter for 5 seconds and turn gas on

Pilot light on the gas boiler won't stay lit it's

The pilot flame must touch (burn) the tip oqef the t-couple to hold the magnet in the gas value open.make sure the pilot orifice (hole) is clear.the pilot pressure (in the tube) is factory set full open & can only be adjusted down (less). Also check the gas **** didn't get closed or turned half way.? Assuming its not the t-couple. If all is good & it still won't stay on. Replace the gas value.!

How do I change the pilot light as it is not working anymore.

It won't be the pilot light, It will be the gas valve control, if the pilot light actually lights but the burners won't light,, then you need to check the thermocouple , its that little round thing that sits inside the flame of the pilot light, and has (usually) a copper tube that runs back to the actual gas valve, If its gone bad, the signal to the gas valve is lost so the gas never gets released so nothing lights
