Unreadable FIFA 2008 dISC

When I play FIFA 2008 on my xbox 360, after playing a few games, the disc says it's unreadable and when i take the disc out it comes out with marks on it. This only happens to FIFA 2008 and not to any of my other games. Also, the marks on the disc can be wiped off. How can I stop this from happening?

Sounds like your dvd drive is having issues. try to do a online update. that may fix the non reading disc issue. as for it damaging that cd and only that cd i would just buy a new dvd drive. most of the time when a cd comes out damaged its due to a belt spindle. which is the part that spins your disc, but your saying its only doing it to 1 game. try a update if that dont work purchase a new dvd drive. make sure u get the correct one

Some video stores offer to re surface discs or you could rent/borrow a copy and download game to harddrive this usually will allow play with an unreadable disc

Play screen comes on then says disc is unreadable

your game is not right downloaded because probably is a piece of the game but i think is not the full game so try to download it somewhere other website and try it again.I hope it helps

Disc unreadable even with new discs, tried putting console flat instead of upright still doesn't work.A game can be playing then stops and says disc unreadable!

Unreadable disk error happens because the sensors on the DVD drive are overheating, it is not normally because the drive is faulty.

Random unreadable disc errors

I had the same problem but i sent it in. They said it was the eye reader error. Or the thing that reads the disc. Try buying a brand new game and try playing it. Alot of times when i have disc read errors i put the disc in where the xbox 360 part at the top goes in facing the xbox. Try that to see if it helps.
