EFO = Filter Blocked (low flow) and it is accessible from the bottom front of the machine.

1. there is a blockage in the filter or drain hose.takes too long to drain out.
2. over dosing of powder or liquid. again can cause an air lock in the pump which slows the drain pump down.

Check the filter and drain hose and test again. this fault will only come up at the end of a cycle.
You do not need to reset the machine to get rid of the fault code as this is automatically deleted.

Run an empty load with no detergent in an attempt to get rid of the code.

How To reset EFO code

Hi. EF0 is suggesting an internal leak which operates a float switch inside the cabinet at the base. It could be a leak (split door seal, hose, etc) or over-foaming causing a momentary leak. Dry the base and inspect. A blocked condenser on the dryer can cause the drum to overfill on wash. I have also witnessed the code come up when the drain pump is jammed..odd as this should be E20. If it drains ok ignore that!.

You have a leak in the machine and water is accumulating in the base pan. Most likely this leak is a manufacturing issue or a transportation issue. Check to see where the leak is coming from under the machine. If in warranty call the dealer.

We have this problem for nearly 2 years now. It always occured in a special program ("Kochwäsche/Buntwäsche 60°" what means coloureds/boiled 60°).

The AEG technician didn't find the problem. Since we avoided that program, the problem never occured again.

But now, close before 2-years-warranty-by-law I demanded them again to repair it. I will report.

How do i re set an EFO code on an AEG LAVAMAT

you just need to mop up the water inside the cabinet to allow the float switch in the base to reset.check there is nothing stopping the float returning to the floor. a small leak from the door seal can cause enough of a leak to trip it . clean the door glass and seal to stop this. or change the door seal.
