When I turn on my psp I get a black screen nothing else what should I do?

The PSP is bricked or the screen is broken.

Google "bricked PSP" this happens when a system update is interupted by being turned off or the battery running out. the only way to fix it is to either hack it, have it hacked or send it back to sony to let them fix it.

Are you trying to boot your psp with a pandora battery and no cfw?

well if when you turn it on the power light turns green but the screen stays blank it means its bricked. this has nothing to do with the battery..
it means when you were updating the system software... the version... you turned off the psp or somehow stopped it.
you can fix this by sending it back to sony.
Or you can buy unbrocking hardware from places like ebay. all this is is a battery and memory stick that have had some software added to them and have been slightly changed. the is i think the best option because if thisu do it again u can just fix it

It is most likely a screen problem, perhaps the screen is disconnected. I would suggest having it serviced, or perhaps you can try to disassemble it and check the cable is fully plugged in.

that is what happens to me i put graf theft auto libery city stories in my psp i turn it on the green ligh come on and it just sits there with a blank screen

Your PSP is Bricked.  You need to send it to Sony to get your problem resolved. The contact information is listed below.

I know this is terrible news for you.  When you were downloading the Flash0, something disturbed the download and corrupted the PSP. This is what Bricked you PSP.  Brick refers to your psp and it is dead until Sony fixes it, no more worth than a brick.
