Hello, it sounds like your power supply is gone, there are two things you can do to fix this problem. One is to attempt a component repair on your own, this just means you have to open the unit and look at the power supply. Normally the thing that will go out first on this unit are the capacitors. You might get lucky and find one that is puffy or fat, if you do you will need to get the value of the capacitor and simply put it on google so you can find a replacement. The number two thing you can do is simply send a quick email to [email protected] with the request for the power board and they will let you know the price and availability of the board, you will than have to do a simple swap of the boards and your TV will be back up and running in no time. This is known as SLEEP MODE / STANDY MODE problem.

Simple solutions:
1. Get a power surge protector / strip.
2. Plug your TV power cord to the power surge.
3.Then turn-on your TV using the remote control. Just in case it won't go all the way to normal state.
4. Turn-off the switch of your power surge like 5 times with an interval of 3-5 seconds.
5. Then repeat step 3 and 4.
6. These steps are done to over-ride the sleep mode.

Hello, this is an inverter board issue which is the board that powers up the backlight. There are two places that will most likely have these two boards (master and slave) available and they are www.shopjimmy.com, and www.invertercentral.com, you can alos send an email to me at [email protected] if you would like to troubleshoot a bit more or just to obtain a bit more information on this model. There are some bigger electrolitic caps in the power supply that can cause this problem also. Testing with a ESR meter while they are in circiut doesn't always work, they need to be taken out and tested with a cap checker.
