I have a toro snowblower. Pull start and oil/gas mix. It was running fine then I ran out of gas, refilled and have not been able to get it started since. I don't know if my solution was too rich with oil but I emptied the gas and refilled and made sure not to put too much oil in the mix. Still no luck. It cranks but won't catch. It is about 1 1/2 years old. Any ideas or quick ways to get it to ''catch?'' Is there any kind of spray I can buy that will help get it started again? Tks

Have a similiar problem with a John Deere trimme (T 105C) and was told by the dealer that it is a carburator problem and would need to be replaced. Cost of the part is $105.00 plus labor. Not worth it to pay to buy the part & have it repaired. Good luck.

it's doubtful that bad gas caused this, it sounds like the cord was back-lashed and partially came off the recoil pulley. Remove the recoil cover and ensure the cord is all on the pulley, make sure the rewind mechanism works smoothly before re-installing.
