I have a sony cyber shot dsc-w30 which i have had for 1 year and the flash doesnt work anymore.a code flashes on the screen E:91:01 apart from this the camera has been great so i would appreciate it if you could get back to me. thanks. toni

Today, i returned my camera to the store where i bought it.
they refunded my money and game me a newer version of the camera. [=
i suggest returning it, or calling the company.
I have the same problem, but in the solution that we show here, its imposible to get the main menu camera.

My camera has suddenly developed the same flash fault and displays E91.01. I've re set the camera but the error remains, the camera is just out of warranty so I've contacted Sony and they are asking £115.00 just for an estimate of repair, Parts and labour would be extra. Can anyone help?
I am having the same problem. I've had my camera for a couple months and when I take a picture, an orange-ish light appears, but no flash. And of course, the flash is 'on,' it's just not working. E:91:01 is flashing on the screen.... I tried to initialize the camera, and it still DOESN'T WORK!

I have a Sony dsc w30 . The screen is very bright thee is no contrast so cannot see pic but all looks like white.. what is this problem about? Thanks a lot for any help..rgds, Jake
