I have a pansonic tv that i brougt last winter ,All you have to do to get audio from it is use a optical cable,

5 blinks - check the 5v SOS D Board since the set is a plasma.

Your best best is to obtain a quote from an authorised Panasonic service centre on the likely cost to replace that board if required, then you can make a decision afterwards - to either go ahead with the repair, or cut your losses and purchase a new set if the latter option turns out to be cheaper.

Always ask about and insist on extended warranties whenever you buy a new TV such as plasmas. These will cover you against expensive repairs, and having to buy a new one each time the old one breaks down in the future.

These days manufacturers lean toward board replacement in plasma and LCD TVs rather than individual components, as it is quicker and easier to replace a whole board than to try and fix an old faulty one. It's also tidier in terms of layout.

Unplug,replug the tv back about an hour later let the tv reset itself.Go in ur tv menu go to AUDIO setting.Go down to reset it to factory setting,should get audio back.Not than ur Tuner board have problems.

hello, you will need the power step down transformer. i understand the voltage supply in uk are at 220v here it is 120v

they have an adapter for the plug and hopefully you can find the tranformer for it. then you should be able to use it ..
