The Mamco motor is WAY too much money.I bought brushes on E Bay and made them fit. #51591 takes 1/4 " square brushes.

Toro model 51575. Was using it as a vacuum and it just shut off. Checked breakers ...all ok. Plugged it in direct to outlet and still nothing. What might be the problem?

Problem is my hardly used Toro Blower Vac is getting no Power
If it has not run for awhile, check the brushes. they might need to be replaced. The plug is usually moulded right on power cord. That might have to be replaced because if there is a problem with a broken or disconnected wire right at plug there is no way to see it. Hope this helps.

Need carbon brush replacments
google for sources. In the 80's i was employed by a co that probuced brushes according to specs. We received them in bags, or envelopes, etc. If you cannot find them through the orig. mfgr., send the remaining brush or the holder, with as much of the brush as is remaining for proper dim. estimate and brush composition. some brushes have the composition of dry charcoal. while some such as "EGO" can substitute for a very soft pencil.

Toro leaf blower Model 51591 from 2003 has started
Sounds like a piece of wood is caught under/between the impellor and the case/housing. When removing the impellor, you may find it has a left hand threaded nut.
