My aeg oko lavamat 72640 update keeps stopping in the middle of programmes. Sometimes the stop/pause button flashes but pressing it doesn't restart the programme. At other times the indicator shows a large amount of time to go but the programme can't be restarted. It all started when I tried to do a 60 degree cotton wash. I am forced to run the "drain" programme then the "rinse" and try again with different programmes. Intermittently, I am managing to do a 40 degree easycare wash but not every time. Help!
I have the same problem with my Oko Lavamat 74639 Update. I've tried changing the vacuum sensor, but no luck.

HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH A L 64851
I have a 3 year old aeg lavamat 64854L. It stopped mid cycle and will not pump out the remaining water. I played around many times but could not get the machine to work, it just made a noise like it was trying to pump. I emptied the remaining water using the little hose under the flap on the bottom right. Still won't work. Had repairperson come to house, He checked it out and said "Everything is fine, no problems. OK, I was happy about not having a big repair expense but will it happen again or? Wait and see. My biggest problem with this machine is the dial keeps sticking, the buttons as well. A bad design?
