Cant charge nokia 8600, charging point connection broken,can i purchase new point and how do i replace

mostly nokia chargers doesn't make problems...
just try the following..
connect ur mobile with a system (usb cable)...
found out whether it is charging or not...
if the same prblm appears then there is a prblm in ur cell phone or power jack(socket)...
if it charged with usb cable buy a new charger
Please change Phone Bettery and check the charging
IF Charging Problem not Solved So

Second Option:
Your Phone charging IC Fault So Please change charging IC
And charging Problem will Solved Quickly

it could be three issues. 1.) The battery is dead. 2.) The cable charger is a cut wire or is faulty 3.) The charging port on your phone is broken and not delivering power to the phone. If it is the battery or cable, you can purchase new ones from many online sites, such as Amazon. If the charging port on the phone is broken, you must call your cell phone provider and let them now. This way they can send you a replacement as soon as possible!

you can try to charge the battery directly, introduction a minimal current to the +ve and -ve terminals of the battery using two live wires

You are probably right. If you have been able to charge your phone before via the micro USB connection, the most logical answer would be that there is something wrong in the connection. Try a new micro usb or go the page where Nokia
supports it´s customrs.

As you have mentioned that power supply is working fine then there can be only two things.

1. Your charging module in the mother board is malfunctioning.And you cannot replace a particular module, you have to replace whole motherboard for it.If your system is under warranty Dell will do it for free.
2. The connector which connects the battery with the mother board is gone.

Have you tried a new charger?
New battery?
Check the charging port where the charger plugs into the handset, there should be a small pin inside, if you cant see this then its probably broken off and you will need to replace the charging connector

seems like ur phone's charging point is broken or else ur charger isnt working .. try a different charger if it works den ur charger is at fault or else the point is broken

Contact NOKIA Authorized sevice center nearest in ur area and they will remove the broken one and connect a brand new screen but first enquire abt the charges and stuff if ur mobile is not in warranty and even if it in warranty
Check whther u would be charged or not
Coz in many cases they dont charge u at all
But u might be charged as screen broke as it was not any problem that came with the phone ....
Dont go to any local engg to fix the problem, they might put a cheap or a fake screen which will work but they will not give u any waranty ...
