Washing Machine doesn't spin.

many machine spin a full tub as they are pumping the water out
this helps to even out the washing load and reduce the unbalance situation
when the water is removed , the machine progresses the program to a high speed spin
call a technician as there may be a problem in the program board

The load might be unbalanced, and will not spin at full speed as it could damage the machine. Try reloading the machine

what kind of washer is it top load or front load and brand.?

check motor brushes, or binding brake, centrifugal clutch Re: Jeff

not enough information. there may be a loose or broken drum spring, or the belt may be loose and or worn. If its a two speed one of the gears may be worn.

Affinity will not spin??

Do you have an age of the machine and model number? Is there a "spin only" cycle? On older machines, there was a center knob you could slowly rotate, one click at a time, to advance it through its cycle. Can you do that? If the unit is agitating, I don't believe the belt is your issue. Age and model please.

Set it toward the end of any cycle - it will sense the water level and pump it out before moving on.
