Unplug it and wait about 5 minutes and plug it back in, this issue might be due to the power coming back on erratically .

SOURCE: Rinse water fills the washing machine when the spin cycle starts

Check your outlet filter, most likely it is blocked, preventing the water from draining out. Chk your pump too. Before this disconnect from the wall socket; and also check the pipe coming from the tub to the filter. Siphon out the excess water from inside the machine before you open the pipes.

I had the same problem. My husband checked the carbon brushes attached to the motor and ran the machine on spin. The brushes were sparking so he assumed they were worn and replaced them and hey presto machine works fine now. The brushes cost 23.99 and were just bought from a local shop but can be bought online cheaper. Hope this helps solve your problem. Essex

SOURCE: Krups model KM7005 water wont heat

Mine had the same problem ... all the lights are on, but no heating on the plate, and no dripping of water.

After a weekend on the workbench, I've mastered this machine. The KM7005 has 2 x MicroTemp G4 thermal cutoff (TCO) fuses which interrupt the Live line, for overheat protection. Mine didn't overheat per se, but the TCO blew anyway. Not reset-able ... need to be replaced with a soldering iron. I'll be happy to advise you to fix this, or fix it for you. Write me at [email protected].

SOURCE: B60.Coffee maker was working fine untill

Hi Bill, sounds like similar a problem I had with my Keurig Coffee maker. Your pump may be plugged with mineral deposit build-up from your water. Do you use regular tap water or filter it in any manner?
Have you ever cleaned the insides with vinegar? Empty your reservoir of water, and pour a bottle of white vinegar into the reservoir. Run the maker through several cycles to ensure the vinegar has worked its way throughout the ‘guts’ of your maker, and then let it sit for 2-4 hours.
Empty any remaining vinegar from the reservoir and then cycle at least two full reservoirs of water through to flush the vinegar out. When you stop smelling vinegar in your coffee cup, you’ll know when there’s no vinegar left inside.
You should probably clean you Keurig once a year, or more depending on how heavily you use it.
SWMBO tells me you’ll find similar instructions above in the Owners Manual or you can check out this link: http://www.ehow.com/how_4927372_clean-keurig-coffee-machine.html
Good Luck, I hope this helps! – Howard, Burke, VA

I have a Roper Washer Model # AL4132VW1 while doing a load of laundry yesterday my washer wouldn't remove the water. I tried all the cycles but it still wouldn't work. Do you have a idea what is...

It is a common fault that the drain fails to work in most machines in a period of time and is the most problematic fault in a washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged. Now remove the drain hose clamps and remove the drain pump/valve, clean the drain pump/valve, use back flushing to clear off all dirt. Now test using power to see if this works and can be simulated. When refitting, the hose must be tightened properly. If the pump/valve does not work even with power then it must be replaced. If there is intermittent power to the drain valve/pump then the program controller unit is a suspect.

Finally the washer must be placed with a tilt- use a spirit level- so that all water will drain to the outlet port and thereby there is no residual water remaining.

I have a Roper washing machine and it will not drain the water?

Most common causes for a machine that won't drain are:

  1. Clogged drain tube
  2. Clogged drain hose
  3. Clogged drain pump
To diagnose, remove the drain hose from the drain tube and look for water in the tube. A clog will force water back into the machine. If this is clear, some debris could have worked it's way into the drain hose itself. Check this by removing the hose and inspect for a blockage. If both are fine, the problem is most likely in the drain pump. Many times, a piece of paper left in a pocket will work it's way into the drain pump and get lodged.

I have a Kenmore 600 washermachine it won't spin or rinse. It would fill up with water and go all the way through the cycle until it got to the last rinse cycle and just stop and make a buzzing noise...

hi there the first thing ill tell you is that the washer needs to drain water before it can spin there are only a few factors that prohibit this operation a faulty lid switch secound a blown or blocked water pump being a fisher paykel they are famous for jammed water pumps as they decided when they built the sysyem to turn the water pump upside down this causes a lot of stress on the water pump see if you can lay the hose on the ground and get all the water out i belive the machine will then start to spin dry. in this case it is the water pump and have it replaced its a simple operation if you can order the part fromf/p you simply turn the washer on its side depress the white latch next to the pump turn the pump clockwise till ity release from machine disconnect power supply plug and fit new unit as per reverse

best of luck

sonic boom electronics australia

p.s the buzzing noise is the water pump humming because it can not spin the problem is definitly your water pump have it repplaced and it will work fine

please take the time to rank my reply if your happy with it.

No lights go on, will not run

Float valve is jammed.

Look inside the machine on the floor will be a small float valve. Looks like a small upside down cup. Lift it and clear anything from underneath.

The valve is a safety feature to stop the machine from over filling. If anything gets under the valve it will jam open and stop the machine.

Not working?

Check for a clog internal or external.

Scoop as much water our as you can. Open the cover on the floor of the machine. Usually just turns and lifts out or snaps out some are screwed in. Take your time and try not to force anything. Look for a clog there.

Check for clog in the drain. The dishwasher will connect to the drain under your sink and run either directly to the drain or into your disposal unit. Remove open the connections and look for a clog. Clear if necessary.

Not the clog?

Water is pumped out by the machine via an internal pump located under the base. If it fails the water will collect until it trips the float valve. First scoop out all the water from the machine and run it again. If water comes in and it runs to the point it fills again and trips the float then either the pump or timer is faulty.

Pump check.

Remove the machine. It will be held in place by screws directly into the counter top. You may have to lower it to get it out. The front feet turn with a wrench to lower.

Turn off the water supply. Run the unit again until you get to the drain cycle.

Connect a test light or voltage tester to the terminals at the pump. Check for voltage at the pump. If you have voltage replace the pump. If no voltage the timer is faulty.

Timer problem?
Some can be replaced as a unit others are integral to the control panel. Turn style can be replaced. Touch control can not.

I have Kitchenaid kudk03itbl3 model dishwasher. It does not fill with water during cycle.

I will assume there is power to the unit and the water supply is on.

I have a year old Roper washer that worked great before. I had it in storage for 5 months. Just moved into a new place and went to do my first load of laundry. Turned the main water on on the wall...and...

You may want to check some of the whirlpool washer direct drive solutions(top load) for dis-assembly of your washer. It most likely is built by whirlpool. It is called direct drive because there is a coupling between the motor and transmission and no belt.(the pump is on the other end of the motor shaft)
The water valve sounds bad that it fills without stopping.(Did this unit freeze, water valves are plastic, so is the pump?)

When you shut the water off to the washer it should spin and pump out the water, if it does not you have to see if maybe there is a connector pulled off or a mouse made a home there......(sounds like two problems)
It is fairly easy to pull the cabinet off after rotating the control panel up,
the whole cabinet comes off from the front, base and back and control panel stay. To rotate the control panel up you need to remove a screw from each end cap or push in with a putty knife at the base of each end cap, there are two styles
good luck, hope this helps some

Whirlpool Roper Gets to Rinse then water runs but will not fill

The contacts for the outlet pump have fused together in the programmer so that as soon as you apply power the pump motor starts running.

Remove the power first

Quick check is to take off the back panel locate the pump and remove one of the supply leads
put some insulating tape around the end of the lead you have taken off in case it shorts out then put the power back on and try the machine, it should then fill and start to agitate .

If that works then you need a new programmer .

Turn off the power , replace the lead and then put the machine back on to drain out the water

My roper wont do anything

Is you washer sitting on a carpeted floor? If so ther is not enough air flow under it for the motor to not overheat. Maybe by now 4-3-09 it's functioning if not post me your model number. If it's on carpet raise it up with 3/4 inch boards under the feet.
