I lost a pair of Winchester VDT 1042 field glasses about 8 years ago. found them today in the pasture. They appear to have condensation in them. what can I do to get it fixed and how much?

Hello, Raymond -

Congratulations on finding your field glasses. I checked the Winchester.com web site to see if they offered repair services for their field glasses / binoculars. I did not find that they manufactured field glasses . . . meaning they are probably not providing repair services, either. I assume you are in the USA.

I did find a business located in suburban Chicago, Illinois, Elk Grove Village. Among many things they repair they state they repair "optics", including binoculars. I suggest you call this company and ask about repairing your field glasses:

United Camera Service Center
2525 Busse Road
Elk Grove Village, Illinois 60007
Toll Free: 866-488-8227

Best wishes

Signal weak

I'm assuming that your cell phone works fine.

Your cell phone gets its signals from cell towers serving your cell phone service provider, e.g. Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile.

If you are in a building or elevator, your signal can be weak. Try going to the edge / side / top of a building, like by a glass window to see if the signal is stronger.
Or if your cell phone service provider (phone company) doesn't have a cell tower close to where you are, the signal can be weak or nil.
You can find out your cell phone company's cell tower coverage areas ...by checking their website. If you are at locations where your cell phone service provider has good coverage, you will get stronger signals. Otherwise, expect to get weak signals.
Yes, it's always prudent to check which cell phone service provider has good cell (tower) coverage in areas where you are (using your cell phone) most of the time, and subscribe to that company's cell phone service.

Who provide the internet service. in the technology of internet accessing by cable tv network. the service is provided by the cable operetore than who provide the service of internet to the cable oprator.

The Telecom Company, Who "Owns" the "Network Backbone" so like for a Sky network it is Rupert Murdock, In NZ it is Telecom, for the Xtra network... In Australia it is Australia Telecom,as one... Bigpond & so on... It is all smoke & mirrors anyway. As some companies own the Internal & Overseas CABLE that the Internet is transmitted on, so they sorta "Own" it too. So whoever owns the "Infrastructure" usually calls the shots. And they "Sell" to an ISP, who "Sell" to maybe a telco, who "sell" to a "provider" who sell to the consumer. Or any mix of the above.. Follow the money.. always follow the money, those that end up with the bulk of the cash "Own" it whatever is said.
