SOURCE: want to wire up toggle switch to run turn signals

WEll, that is one idea, but I reccomend against it, as the brake light system is tied into the circuit, commonly. Just fix the t/s switch.

SOURCE: which post is which on generator on a 1975 sportster?

the post should be the same as an original. The wires should be green and tan. Green wire goes to the post towards the front wheel and the tan to the post nearest the engine. Don't forget to "polarize" the generator before starting. procedure is in the service manual. Momentarily short between the battery positive post and the field terminal.

SOURCE: Main burner will not lite. Jumped "TH" wires on

Follow the wire down to the front of the cabinet and you should find a black section about two inches long. Jump past this and see if it fires. This is a wax roll out switch. If the fire comes out the front of the box this switch will melt and shut the heater down. If the black is loose it's probably OK. If it is tight on the wire it has gone bad.
This protects the rest of the heater from flame roll out so if it has gone bad you need to check for the reason it did.

SOURCE: I have a craftsman 2400 watts generator where does the wire that comes off the kill switch connect to

A kill switch wire works by stopping power to the switch by connecting to ground..usually the engine..but any unpainted surface will do..just make sure it is a clean contact and tight..good luck..

Old club car battery wireing digram

How old? The two most common wiring of the batteries are: (old) two batt on driver side , front one neg toward middle of cart, back one positive toward middle. Middle batteries-- both positive towards front of cart. Passenger side-- two batteries- front one - positive toward middle, back one negative toward middle of cart. Connect main negative to drivers side and main positive to passenger side- rest of them are connected in series( neg to pos to neg). The newer wiring only has two batteries that are switched- The main positive and the main negative batteries are reversed but the main cables are connected differently, you can tell by looking at what posts are not connected after wiring them in series. They will be the back ones on each side.

I have a Briggs & Stratton Automatic Home Generator 7 kW, Model# 40301. I had it installed by an electrician. Who also installed Briggs & Stratton Transfer Switch 50 Amp. The problem is the...

It sounds like the mains sense wire is disconected from the control panel or the run wire is not being cut by the aux contact on the transfer switch.
Is the transfer switch manual or motorised?

Have 36 volt club car w/coils

Recheck your battery wiring. The batteries should be wired in series, neg to pos to neg. I believe one of the batteries behind the driver's side is the main negative and one on the passenger side is the main positive. There is usually a #6 green wire coming from the for/rev switch to a positive battery post, however , it might be a different color, but that one is the reverse wire, It can be on any positive post, just count the number of batteries between green wire and main neg, multiply by 6 and that would be total reverse voltage. If wired correctly all 6 batteries are used for forward.

Won't fire

It may also be the high temp switches under the 2" inlet/outlet header. The 150 degree high-limit switch sits horizontal and corrosion happens often there. But be careful removing as if the header is corroded and the switch is also, water will flow out , so be ready to bypass the heater. You will have to replace the header. Try to jumpe that switch out and I'll bet the heater fires up.
