Whana change my sanyo tv to input to play games?

I whana play my ps2 but i can't swich the tv to video with my rca remote. And the menu button on the remote won't work I don't know if its the remote or the tv but is there a way to turn ur tv to video with the remote someone plz help? its a RCA RC-U703SP remote if u must know

    i just bought a xbox 360 and i cant change the input so i can play, i tried the menu to change the antenna settings but it didnt do anythin pleaz help im using a rca universal remote

    I need to use the input button, but dont have a remote, is there a way to

    watch dvd's with out the input button?

    Can you do it from the tv somehow? I already checked the menu button on the tv and it didnt say input.

There is button on your remote labeled TV/AV . Press the button to get a blank screen with AV written on the screen. If your game device is connected at the back to this AV socket ( Yellow / Red / White ) you will see the game menu display.
On some of the TV remotes it might not be written TV/AV but INPUT SOURCE or just a picture of a TV screen with an arrow pointing inwards ( that LOGO is the universal symbol for INPUT )

Unable to get remote to switch to tv/video RCA remote tv is sanyo
It took me forever to figure it out. Press the input key, just below the 9. The TV channel should be on 3. Make sure you put your DVD in and press play manually, so you can see that it is on.

Switching to play video games--how do I do it?
You are going to have to order a origanal remote that came with the TV to do this because the universal remote does not have the game mode feature! Go to www.remotes.com to order yours!

Unusable Signal for PS2
If you want to use a PS2 with an RCA stereo monitor Colortrak plus television, folllow these steps:
1.Buy a universal remote compatible with RCA televisions if you don't have the original.
2.If your remote needs programming, program it with the manual provided.
3.Goto Menu
4.Goto Alarm
5.Goto Alarm Channel
6.Set Alarm Channel to 00
7.Exit Menu
8.Goto channel 00 on the television by using the remote.
9.You should be in AV mode, and able to play your PS2.
P.S. I don't know if you need to set Alarm Channel to 00, but that's how i did it.

Hooking up a ps2 to my monitor.
ok " your tv monitor has a remote, look on the remote and push the input button .

also make sure video cable for ps2 is pluged in to the tv video
input plug, female RCA plug should be yellow

Sanyo stuck on video mode
Yippie, I figured out a solution that worked!!! I have a univeral remote from comcast, on that remote near the bottom left is a small button that says (input) tv/vcr, press that one time and whala!! the tv video screen was gone, I had to manually change the channel from the tv channel button on the unit. once I changed the channel to 3, my universal remote worked... the button is the second one from the bottom left... I was on hold with sanyo for a long time and just kept trying on my own, so good luck!!!!

The best thing to do is get an original replacement remote and then you will absolutely be able to enter the menu and perform the autoprogram.
