F21 error means that the drain time has exceeded 8 minutes; this will turn off the water valves. Press PAUSE/CANCEL two times to clear the display. If errors still remains then please check the drain hose and make sure it is not plugged or kinked. Disassemble the washer by removing the back from the washer and check the electrical connections at the pump and make sure the pump is draining. Also inspect the pump filter for foreign objects. Before disassembling remember to turn off the power and disconnect the washer. If it still doesn't help then there is an issue with the pump and you'll need to replace it. Hope this helps... Hi, you have to unplug the washer from power source. Then remove front lower panel (3 sheet metal screw with 1/4" drive head located on the lower lop of the panel), open pump strainer (looks like a large stove knob, Turn it counter clockwise, lookout because lots of water will gush out. Back flush the pump by filling the outet of the drain hose ( this may dislodge debris that may jam your pump), re-assemble, plug to power, and turn-on. In my case, there was a piece of a metal lodge in the pump impeller.

"F28" means your washer is locked and not unlocking. To unlock your washer take the bottom access panel off by removing the 3 bottom screws.Reach up near the latching assembly & attached to the door latch is a little plastic pull lever. Pull down on this lever and open the door. Unplug your washer for 60 seconds and plug your washer back in. If the error re-occurs you need to replace your door lock.

First check your washer plug to see if the connections are tightly screwed. Next check your filter if you haven't for long.

Remove the 3 screws at the bottom of the front panel under the washer door. Your filter door will be light brown. If you find a hose there it is to drain out excess water (water that could not be drained by your pump) After you hv drained unscrew the cap and remove all the junk inside. Have a large plastic bag to catch junk and water. Refit carefully after cleaning out. If not solved, something shd be blocking your pump, check this out

it stands for longer than normal drain interval,press "pause/cancel" twice to clear, if it returns then look for obstructions in the water drain from the basket all the way to the drain in the house,or possibly it could be a bad washer drain pump

"F21" is a Long Drain error. This occurs when the drain time exceeds 8 minutes. You will need to remove the bottom panel under the door by removing the two screws at the bottom edge of the panel. First, check the electrical connections to the drain pump and make sure the pump is running. Check the drain pump filter to make sure it is not clogged with debris. This is a very common problem. HINT: Before removing the drain pump filter, pull the drain hoses from the standpipe at the wall and use a shop vac to pull a vacuum on the drain hose to get rid of all residual water from the pump and drain lines. This is also a good way to get rid of minor clogs. If you do not own a shop vac, be prepared to lay down some old towels and soak up some water. There's quite a bit of residual water in the wash tub and lines (this is normal). In addition, check your drain hoses to make sure they are not clogged or kinked. If you check everything and still have the error code, replace the drain pump. Replacement parts can be found at searspartsdirect.com and repairclinic.com.
