I only bought this phone 2 months ago and the touch screen totally stopped working this morning! im really not happy. is there anything i can do to try and fix it?
I squeezed around the camera and it came good

Hi all, I just had this problem and literally JUST resolved it :D i basically softly bent the phone all the way down and that was it sorted... obviously not full on bent it in half..
This 100 per cent works!! Hilarious! Cannot believe this works as spent the day switching on and off my phone taking out the battery etc! just do as this guy says and gentle bend the phone like you are trying to snap it in half with the screen facing upwards. Obviousy do it gently and it works!

I am having LG KP500 mobile phone but from last two days its touch screen is not woking.
Has it had a drop as if it has maybe the push in connector on the lcd has slightly dislodged, have you tried getting a replacement from where you purchased it, unless of course it wasnt a shop
if you didnt get from a shop undo 4 screws on back and remove camera surround then unplug the ribbon connector in the middle of the right side then give it a blow and plug it back in and see if that works,

My touchscreen had stopped working i just switched it off after 2 days it started working, but now it again stopped working and after i switched off i for entire week but still it dosnt works ...? plz help me out

It seems you have A damaged digitizer. Genereally need to replace entire lcd assembly unless you can get a split lcd/digitizer assembly.
I have an LG KP501 too with the same, the touch screen was extremely decalibrated (only the half worked ), i flashed the software but didn't change a thing and i managed too make it work by opening the case and unplug all connectors from the board ( from the front side and from the back side of the board ) put all back together and now is working perfect.
Is there any other solution that might not break the phone????
My touchscreen works but everytime i wish to open any application it turns on other. as for example if i try to open the music player it starts the video recorder. i 'd tried the calibration but it won't work.
