SOURCE: atp3 wont power up why?

There is an internal fuse in the Altec Lansing Speakers ..BUT BE CERTAIN TO DISCONNECT THE POWER LEAD BEFORE MAKING THE FOLLOWING REPAIR.AS IT CAN BE DEADLY!!!
If you remove the larger screws from the back of the unit then remove the top section with the circuit board attached. Next remove the screws attached to the bass speaker as you will need to remove the speaker to replace the fuse.

Once the speaker screws are removed there is a little recessed slot in the timber for you to put two fingers in to lift the speaker out. It may offer a little resistence as there is a dab of glue holding the cables into the cabinet next to the speaker.
Once you have the speaker removed double check that you have disconnected the correct power lead to your ATP3.. The fuse is easily visible so pull it out and check with meters to see that it has not blown.
Alternatively take a 9 volt battery ( the type with both terminals at the top of the battery). Place your tongue over both terminals to verify it has a charge (you will feel a slight tingle on your . tongue).
Next place one end of the removed fuse on one of the terminals.. now short curcuit the other end with your tongue touching both the unconnected end of the fuse to the other unconnected terminal ... this should complete a circuit and give you a slight tingle.. ( it wont hurt you!) If there is no tingle the battery is either flat or you have a blown fuse.

If the fuse is OK, then chances are you have a faulty pin connector - your "right out" connector. Sometimes these get bumbed with the feet if you have it on the floor and they can lose the contact needed to switch your unit on.
You then need to either re-solder the pin out socket on the circuit board or repair the cable that plugs into it.

If someone has worked out how to solder a jumper lead on the board at the pinouts you may be able to have the power on permanently and then use the wall switch to turn it off and on.

SOURCE: Sharp R-1850A Mocrowave Convection - No power

Chances are if the internal fuse and magnetron thermostat are good, then you have a circuit board that needs repair.

You can probably find exploded views at the Sears parts site. If you find a bad thermostat, the best place to order Sharp parts is Tritronics.

We regularly repair these control panels for customers nationwide (RV owners & dealers, too) with our guaranteed $39.95 service.

Onan generator runs fine but after being plug to house now it wont power the RV.

Your RV and others have a "Transfer Switch"...
Follow the exterior cable coming from the electrical INLET mounted on the outside of the RV.
It should go to a junction box, or the actual transfer switch.
May have the problem there... Bad Contactor or the Electronics are not seeing the Generator...

Why would a Dometic 13500 rv rooftop A/C runs fine when plugged in to normal power but when hooked up to a 4000 w gen.runs for a while then kicks breaker have tried on 2 different generators any ideas

Are both the test breakers the same size (15A or 20A, etc)? Perhaps the breaker in the RV has a lower amp rating then the other one you are testing it on? If that's the case your test doesn't really tell you anything, they both need to be the same size to know where the problem may be.

Generator not powering RV

You need to find out if the generator is providing any power at all, when its not connected to the RV, get it to power something else. If it does that OK you have to suspect the inverter or some of the wiring in the RV, did any wiring near the inverter get wet?

I have a 6 year old 4500 watt gen, I have a 30 amp rv hookup, I have a coverter to 20 amp plug, want to plug it in but if the plug touches the outlet it trips the GFCI on it so I have to reset it. works...

There are some things you need to test, make sure a wire isn't pulled out of the inside of the plug and is toughing any other wire inside the plug, then test the gen with a meter to see what is power and what is ground, some where power is toughing ground.

We have an rv with a onan emerld I set generator on board. When we bought the rv (used) the generator did not work at all. We purchased the motherboard for it and it now starts and runs fine but we are not...

Is your generator wired in to an automatic switchover in the motorhome, or do you have external plug in on face of generator, or near it. The power from the generator needs to be attached one way or another to the motorhome. It may be as simple as plugging the cord from motorhome into it, depending on what set-up you have.

RV Onan 4000 runs fine but not putting out enough voltage to run anything

Not sure how to set it up but you can take it and have the voltage turned up on your generator or the voltage regulator is out.

Circuit Breaker and Dometic Rooftop RV Air

Its the watts you plug in too like ither 30 watts vs 50 watts. 30 watts will cause your wires to get hot in the unit. just pull down your breaker box and look at those white ground wires.
