Try making sure the light bulb is ok 1st.
Is it switched from the wall or just on the fan? Can did you recently pull the chain on the fan to change directions and pulled one once then it didn't work? From High Speed to off is just one pull. So flip wall switch still doesn't work then pull each chain once then flip wall switch again if the fan does not work you have eliminated one of them being turned off. If it still does not work check fuse panel for an Open Fuse. If all is good drop fan test with multimeter or voltage tester (AC with little light on the White and Black wires to see if you have power. If you do then either a bad switch which you test if you remove and test with NO Power to it for Continuity if it fails, then replace and reinstall if it's good then a bad motor.
Hope I helped.

I would suggest buying a new fan at the price of the replacement part for your existing Hunter Fan. Ceiling Fan Direction have fans at lesser price compare to other online retailers.
