Powermate 5000 with tecumseth engine

Comment with the tecumseh model number.

It would be safer to ring around some spark plug retailers so you don't damage anything.

Take a look at your outlets. Some of these units use pretty cheap outlets and short out. You will know if it is bad when you look at it. Hope this helps.

Check the fuel filter. My company designed hybrid generators that are far more efficient. They use batteries to power your equipment, and the generator runs intermittantly to recharge the batteries when needed.

Cleaning the carb bowl is not enough make sure you pull out the main jet and clean it out real good. If it starts with starting fluid then it is definitely a fuel problem.

4 bolts to the engine then altenator will just pull off may need a puller to get it moving
