Likely a control board issue but could be throttle actuator (stepper motor).

SOURCE: engine stalled out, would not start,

This truck is fuel injected, the problem sounds like a weak fuelpump, it runs when you pour gas into it until that gas runs out, the first thing is to test the fuel preasure, if the pump is weak it may run with gas poured into it but wont idle, also a common problem is the coolant temp sensor and the ground wires to thermostat housing bolt but i wont bet its the pump inside the fuel tank, if you put a fuel gauge on it there should be at least 55-61 psi if its a few pounds lower it can cause problems, you have everything else and it runs with gas poured so its a fuel problem check the preasure, theres a valve up top on the fuel line to connect a fuel gauge to it, start there hope this is helpful.

Mitsubishi MGE 5800 generator won't start. Will run for seconds when I put gas directly in the carburetor. I cleaned the carburetor etc.

If the engine will start when starter fluid is sprayed into the carb, you missed cleaning some small orifice in the carb. Recheck/reclean the carb and you should be OK.

My onan 4.0 generator will not idle and is back fireing while trying to run it will run fine for ten min then starts trying to die and starts back fireing when I try to keep it running

check for a faulty sump oil switch . check for faulty coil ( magneto on the flywheel) as the time it runs suggests that it is breaking down internally.

It sounds like a blocked jet and or carb issue, may need to service the carb

Mitsubishi MGE 6700 generator. Starts and runs fine, but no longer putting out power. What would it cost to repair this issue?

These generators have a GFI outlet on them, and they do fail. I would suggest you check all output circuits and see if you have any output. If so, pull the GFI and see if it is getting power to the outlet. If so, replace the outlet.

When I have it on it stays on high idle speed. When I push the auto idle it will not change the speed to normal. It idles at high speed all time.

If you have anything plugged into the generator, consuming any electric, it will run at high. It must run at high speed to generate 120V. It will only idle if your turn off the load.

Fuel line

At the bottom of your fuel tank there should be a shut off valve and a shunt that has a line coming from it. (The other end is suppose to run through a filter then to the carb) As for the second. Perhaps a reserve tank or aux tank during the switch of fuel sources
